我在极多的世界中，见到菩萨们进入母亲的子宫。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们从母亲的子宫中出生。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们示现孩童的游戏。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们舍弃王位而出家。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们示现苦行的行为。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们走向菩提树。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们注视菩提树。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩 萨们以珍爱、崇敬之心，对菩提树进行三次绕行。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们坐在菩提树旁。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们坐在菩提树下。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们证得无上正等正觉。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到菩萨们证得无上正等正觉而成佛。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到诸佛世尊转法轮。我又在更加极多的世界中，见到诸佛世尊示现大涅槃。如果所有这些佛的名号和种姓都相同，那么在哪些世界中会出现大菩萨们呢？

In the most numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas entering their mothers' wombs. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas emerging from their mothers' wombs. Furthermore, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas displaying the games of children. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas renouncing their kingdoms and going forth into homelessness. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas demonstrating the practice of asceticism. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas going to the Bodhi tree. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas gazing at the Bodhi tree. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas circumambulating the Bodhi tree three times with utmost care and reverence. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas sitting near the Bodhi tree. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas sitting under the Bodhi tree. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas attaining unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see bodhisattvas becoming Buddhas, having attained unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, turning the wheel of Dharma. Moreover, in even more numerous realms of the world, I see the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, demonstrating the great complete Nirvana. If all of these have the same name and lineage, then in which realms of the world will great bodhisattvas appear?

Then, the venerable Ananda said to the Bhagavan: "Lord, in which realms do the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, not appear, and how many realms are there where Bodhisattvas do not practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas?" The Bhagavan said: "Ananda, in the realms I have shown where the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, appear, and where the Bodhisattvas also practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas, Ananda, it is like gold dust being rare among the sand of the great ocean and the sand of the Ganges River. Ananda, similarly, in which realms the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, appear, and the Bodhisattvas also practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas, those realms are rare. Ananda, just as someone might take a single grain of sand from the sand of the great ocean and the sand of the Ganges River, so too, where the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, appear, and the Bodhisattvas also practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas, those realms are very few."
