Thinking thus, he contemplated and aspired, then rose from his seat and prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One. The Venerable Katyayana also thought likewise, contemplated and aspired, then prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One and requested with these words: "Blessed One, please grant us an opportunity. Sugata, please grant us an opportunity. Blessed One is our father, progenitor, protector, refuge, and friend. Blessed One, I am also the son of the Blessed One, the attendant of the Blessed One, the holder of the treasury of the Blessed One's Dharma." Thus, in the world including gods, humans, and asuras, he became highly worthy of reverence. Having made offerings, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, accepted the sacred Dharma and fully upheld the teachings, thereby awakening to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Bodhisattvas, like twenty times the sands of the Ganges River, a hundred thousand million nayutas, will mature into unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Your Buddha-field will be very prosperous, and the ground will be made of Vaidūrya. That world will be called the Unwavering Victory Banner. That kalpa will be called the Manifest Proclamation of Pleasing Sounds. The lifespan of that Bhagavat, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, the Ocean-Holder of Supreme Wisdom, the Manifest Knower of Playful Intellect, will be immeasurable kalpas. The lifespan of that Bhagavat will be countless billions of hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, which cannot be exhausted by counting. Ananda, the lifespan of that Bhagavat, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, the Ocean-Holder of Supreme Wisdom, the Manifest Knower of Playful Intellect, will be as long as the sacred Dharma will remain after he passes into complete Nirvana, twice as long. As long as the sacred Dharma of that Bhagavat remains, the image of the sacred Dharma will remain twice as long. Again, Ananda, that Bhagavat, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, the Ocean-Holder of Supreme Wisdom, the Manifest Knower of Playful Intellect, will be praised by many Buddhas in the ten directions, countless billions of hundreds of thousands of millions, like the sands of the Ganges River. Then, the Bhagavat spoke these verses at that time: I delight in the monastic community of monks. Bhadra, you hold my Dharma. Having made offerings to sixty kotis of Sugatas, you will become a Victor in the future. His name will be Ocean-Holder of Wisdom, and he will also be known as Manifestly Attained Knowledge. A beautiful, completely pure Buddha-field, an unwavering victory banner, a banner of the Victor. Bodhisattvas there are like the sands of the Ganges.
