ས་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་བྱུང་བ་ན་སེམས་ཅན་གང་དག་ཁ་ཅིག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་སེམས་གཅིག་བསྐྱེད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་དག་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དེ་དང་། སེམས་དེ་དང་། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བའི་བྱིན་གྱི་རླབས་དེ་དང་། རྒྱུ་དེས་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་དག་གིས་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་དག་སྔོན་གྱི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དང་ལྡན་པར་མཁྱེན་ནས་ལོག་པར་ལྷུང་བ་དེ་ལས་བཏོན་ཏེ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པའི་ཐང་བསིལ་བ་འཇིགས་པ་མེད་པ་ལ་འགོད་དོ། །བཀོད་ནས་ཀྱང་རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་དག་ཁྱེད་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་དེ་དྲན་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བསྐུལ་བ་དང་། དེ་དག་གིས་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ལྟ་ལགས་སོ། །བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པ་དེ་ལྟ་ལགས་ཏེ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མཐུ་དང་། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་གྱི་རླབས་ཀྱིས་དྲན་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་འཛེར་ཏོ། །དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བའི་ལེའུ་སྟེ་དགུ་པ་རྫོགས་སོ།། །། དགུ་པ། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བའི་ལེའུ།

当具有大地的自在者们出现在世间时，某些众生生起一个善心，那些善根，以及那个心，以及善根的加持，以及那个因，由此，诸佛薄伽梵们知晓那些众生具有往昔的善根，从而将他们从堕落中救拔出来，安置于寂灭的清凉之地，无有怖畏。安置之后，（佛）还劝勉道：种姓之子们，你们要忆念那样的善根啊！他们回答说：薄伽梵，正是如此。善逝，正是如此，是依靠佛陀的神通和佛陀的加持而忆念的。善根品第九结束。 第九，善根品。
English
When those who possess great dominion over the earth appear in the world, some sentient beings generate a single virtuous thought. Those virtuous roots, that thought, the blessings of those virtuous roots, and that cause—by these, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, knowing that those sentient beings possess virtuous roots from the past, extract them from their fallen state and establish them in the cool, fearless ground of nirvana. Having established them, they exhort, "Children of good family, remember such virtuous roots!" And they reply, "Bhagavan, it is so. Sugata, it is so; it is through the power of the Buddha and the blessings of the Buddha that we remember." Thus concludes the ninth chapter, the chapter on virtuous roots.
