These various designations are merely appearances of one's own mind, which children do not comprehend. Because children do not comprehend, the various designations of the three realms indicate the connection of the stages of the ground, and this is how I and the Buddhas have established them. Furthermore, the great wisdom Hearers and Solitary Realizers, intoxicated by the bliss of the absorption of cessation on the eighth bodhisattva ground, are not skilled in the mere appearance of their own minds. They fall into the habit of obscurations of self and generality, and into the view of clinging to the absence of self in persons and phenomena. For these conceptualizations, they transform into minds that aspire to nirvana, rather than minds that aspire to extremely solitary dharma. Great wisdom Bodhisattvas, having seen the gateway to the bliss of the samadhi of cessation, possess past aspirations, loving-kindness, and compassion, and know the distinctions of entering the ultimate state. Therefore, they do not completely pass into nirvana, because they do not enter into conceptualizations, and thus are also in nirvana. Their grasping and apprehending conceptualizations are completely reversed. Since all phenomena are understood to be merely one's own mind, even though they do not enter into conceptualization, those who are separated from the conceptualizations of attachment to the nature and characteristics of mind, intellect, consciousness, and external objects, do not fail to enter for the sake of the Buddhadharma. For the sake of the Tathagata's own individual understanding, they enter with wisdom as a guide, like a person crossing a river in a dream. For example, great wisdom holders, some people in a sleeping dream, with effort and diligence, cross a great river themselves, and awaken before crossing it. Having awakened, they wonder, is this true or false? Therefore, this is neither true nor false, otherwise it falls into the forms and shapes of various conceptual habituations of seeing, hearing, distinguishing, recognizing, and experiencing, and is the consciousness that has completely abandoned the conceptualizations of existence and non-existence.

It seems as if one sees appearances in a dream experienced through experience. Therefore, great wisdom Bodhisattva Mahasattvas also see that the eighth Bodhisattva ground does not allow conceptualization to arise, the transformation from the first to the seventh ground, and the realization of all dharmas. Because it is the same as illusory dharmas, they diligently apply themselves to all dharmas, and having seen the mind free from the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped, and the movement of conceptualizations arising from the mind, they thoroughly connect with the Buddha's teachings. Great wisdom, this is the means for Bodhisattvas to understand what has not been understood in order to be liberated from sorrow, and it is not complete destruction. Through mind, intellect, consciousness, conceptualization, and non-perception, one will attain forbearance of the unarisen dharma. Great wisdom, in order to teach the dharma that is devoid of appearance and devoid of conceptualization, therefore, this ultimate truth has no order or connection of order. To this, it is said: Mind-only and non-appearance, the Buddha-ground and places, these are what the Buddhas have taught, and will be taught and will be taught. The seven grounds are mind, and the eighth is non-appearance. Here, two grounds are places, and the other grounds are my nature. I and individual self-awareness, this ground is my nature, the supreme abode of the Great Powerful One, Akanishta is extremely beautiful. Just like fire, its rays are diverse, pleasing, peaceful, and greatly manifest. These emanate in the three realms. Some of the three realms are emanated, and some were emanated earlier. There, the vehicles are taught, that is my nature ground. The tenth is the first, the first is the eighth, the ninth is also the seventh, the seventh is also the eighth, the second is the third, the fourth is also the fifth, the third is also the sixth, what order is there for the non-appearing? The fourth chapter, the chapter on realization, is completed. Fourth, the chapter on realization.
