Thus, the characteristics of all phenomena, the imputed nature, the dependent nature, and the thoroughly established nature, are thoroughly understood as they are, as well as the absence of characteristics, the nature of defilement, and the nature of purification, are thoroughly understood as they are. Having thoroughly understood the Dharma without characteristics as it is, if one thoroughly abandons the Dharma of the nature of defilement, and having thoroughly abandoned the Dharma of the nature of defilement, one will obtain the Dharma of the nature of purification, that is all. A Bodhisattva is skilled in the nature of all phenomena. If the Tathagata Bodhisattva is called skilled in the nature of all phenomena, it is only by this that he is called so. Then, the Blessed One spoke these verses at that time: If one knows well the Dharma without characteristics, one will abandon the Dharma of the nature of defilement. If one abandons well the Dharma of defilement, one will obtain the Dharma of the extremely pure nature. Those who are negligent, sinful, and lazy, do not contemplate the faults of actions, and for those impermanent and changing phenomena, one should have compassion because of their decline. The Sixth Chapter, the Source of Qualities, is complete. Sixth, The Chapter on the Source of Qualities.
