Having circumambulated three times, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. All those retinues perceived everything as being like an illusion, and they also saw themselves as being like an illusion. They also saw those offerings as being like an illusion. Having seen the Blessed One as being like an illusion, they also truly knew that whatever Dharma the Blessed One taught was like an illusion. They knew that all dharmas are like an illusion, and thus they became without doubt and without hesitation. At that time, the Blessed One praised them with verses: Whatever offerings all beings have made, And whatever illusory offerings have been made, And the gods have made offerings to the Buddhas, Thus all these dharmas are indeed illusion. Whatever dharmas the guide has spoken, And all the prophecies of the Thus-Gone Ones, All these are like illusions. Thus, those assemblies of gods gained wisdom. Just as these illusions of the Blessed One are, The teacher is also like an illusion. Because the Victor has prophesied to us, We have no doubt about this. The Victor knows each individual being, And whatever names are given to the stage of children, All those are just like illusions, Thus the Sugata's prophecy to beings is also thus. Those who are learners and those who are not learners, And those who have attained the stage of the Blessed One's Shravakas who are tamed, All those are like the Blessed One's illusion. We have no doubt about the Blessed One's teachings. Blessed One, those who are committed to not speaking, And like rhinoceroses, have abandoned dualistic afflictions, Those too are like the illusion of the Blessed One. We have no doubt about the Sugata's teachings. Those who, for the sake of the happiness and benefit of all beings, Practice the Victor's Bodhi conduct with mindfulness, The Bodhisattvas, the sons of the Sugatas, are also No different from this illusion. The Sugata, the self-born, the supreme guide, Possessing the ten powers, infinite wisdom, and great compassion, The lords of the world who excel in wisdom and power, These illusions are similar, their nature is the same. Whatever dharmas the guide has spoken here, Are without location, peaceful, cool, and without afflictions, Pacifying suffering, ultimate, and countless, That too

I am just like these emanations. In this Blessed One, whatever dharmas there are, If they are not the nature of emanation, then there are none. When we realize this teaching of Gautama, We abandon all doubts. Seeing all dharmas in such emanations, We too will become protectors of the world. Those who practice in the realm of the Sugatas, Will be without doubt, becoming self-born guides. Then, the Blessed One, knowing the superior intention of those eighty kotis of sons of the gods of the Thirty-Three realms, smiled. Then, the Venerable Mahamati, in verse, requested the Blessed One: Possessing immeasurable fame and boundless splendor, The Sugatas do not smile without a cause. If the guide smiles here, Pray tell the verses of the Victor's smile, dispel doubts. This smile from the face of the self-born Sugata, Knowing that it has occurred, the world is filled with doubt. Pray, O Sage, dispel the doubts of beings, Pray, do not let these beings have doubts. These assemblies of gods are exceedingly delighted, Praising the Victor and making offerings with divine substances. Those Sugatas smile for a purpose, Pray, O Victor, delight this assembly and grant teachings. Like the moon, possessing stainless light, Possessing immeasurable splendor. How can it be that after hearing this teaching of the Sugata, O Protector, all beings will be delighted, Pray, O Victor, knowing the offerings of the gods, grant teachings. These Sugata gods have completely, Understood all dharmas as being like emanations, Possessing the ten powers, pray tell this meaning, Speak the teachings of the gods, free from delusion. If these beings become free from doubt, Then the Sage will also initiate the practice of enlightenment in that way. If these courageous assemblies hear, Then they will initiate the great benefit like the King of Mountains. Then, the Blessed One, in verse, again taught the Venerable Mahamati: Knowing that these assemblies of gods are exceedingly delighted, Mahamati, your words spoken in due time, Are indeed timely, The smile mixed with it is indeed a prophecy. The gods, knowing the intention, asked the reason for the smile, Therefore, you have accomplished the great benefit of beings. Please explain the cause of the smile. Listen to it with joy and faith.

Then. Those deities, knowing all these dharmas as illusory, Seeing immeasurable, uncontaminated wisdom, Will become protectors of the world, free from obscurations. Even if they have passed into the stream of existence, during samsara, they will worship the chief of humans as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. In that stream of existence, they surpass the capable ones, But they do not see the dharmas as illusory. By making this supreme offering to whomever, they will manifestly see the dharmas as illusory. Making this offering to the Sugata's teachings, It will not be destroyed by water, nor will there be obstacles. These deities have made offerings to me, Knowing all dharmas to be like illusions. When the kalpa called Padma arises, they will become the supreme among humans, the moon of speech. The supreme name possessing excellent retinues will be The Sugata, the supremely wise, the king with the crown of power. Showing all dharmas to be like illusions, they will liberate immeasurable billions of beings. The Sugatas. Those who are mindful of those teachings, Think of these dharmas as illusory. After destruction, whoever relies on that with mindfulness, Will quickly attain the supreme peace of unsurpassed enlightenment. The fifteenth chapter, the prophecy of the Thirty-three Gods, is complete. Fifteenth, the chapter on the prophecy of the Thirty-three Gods.
