聽聞此事，我們也不歡喜。莫捨棄已歸投的鴿子，何時引導者您在秤上被衡量，聽聞此事，勝者也不安樂，善逝菩提行苦難大。我們不明白，這是怎麼回事呢？對善逝作害眾生之事，墮入惡趣黑暗，憶念善逝的苦行，故不歡喜。如何引導世間者具殊勝智慧，善逝之行轉為不害之心，修持之時不損害彼，祈請開示引導世間者易行之道。具無邊智慧善逝之行中，此等能仁龍眾極為精進，如何能如您所說而行，如是祈請開示善逝菩提道。無老死，得勝妙位，此等龍眾能仁處於渴乏之境，如何能調伏此等眾生安樂，祈請善逝開示易行之禁行。爾後，世尊亦見彼等龍之供養，亦明瞭以增上意樂所發之願，彼時便現微笑。此乃法性，諸佛世尊凡於何時現微笑，彼時種種顏色與多種顏色之光芒便從世尊之面門而出，顯現至梵天世界，而後返回，沒入世尊之頂髻。爾後，具壽馬勝於彼時以偈頌請問世尊：具善禁行之苦行能仁等，若無因緣，勝者不會現微笑，引導者善逝具大悲者，祈請開示無等世尊微笑之因。集會之導師，此等眾生，欲聽聞微笑之因，瞻仰您的面容，心懷畏懼，心存疑惑，祈請智者消除疑惑。世間智者導師釋迦能仁，今日是誰內心歡喜，誰見到魔王，因愚昧而使內心不悅。集會之 導師引導者是誰，對善逝法性之父作承事供養，善逝

Hearing this, we are also unhappy. Do not abandon the dove that has taken refuge. When the guide, you, were weighed on the scales, hearing this, the Victor is also uneasy. The conduct of the Sugata's enlightenment is greatly suffering. We do not understand, what is this? Harming beings to the Sugata, falling into the darkness of evil realms, remembering the Sugata's suffering conduct, we are not happy. How can the guide of the world have superior wisdom, and the Sugata's conduct turn into a non-harming mind? When practicing, not harming them, please teach the easy path for the guide of the world. In the Sugata's conduct with infinite wisdom, these Shakyamuni dragon hosts are extremely diligent. How can we act according to your words? In this way, please show the path of Sugata's enlightenment. Without old age and death, attaining the supreme position, these dragon hosts of Shakyamuni are in a state of thirst. How can these beings be tamed peacefully? Please, Sugata, teach the easy conduct of vows. Then, the Blessed One also saw those offerings of the dragons, and also understood the prayers made with superior intention, and at that time he smiled. This is the Dharma nature, that whenever the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, smile, at that time various colors and rays of many colors emanate from the face of the Blessed One, appearing up to the Brahma world, and then returning, sinking into the crown of the Blessed One's head. Then, the venerable Ashvajit at that time asked the Blessed One in verses: Those with good vows, ascetic Shakyamuni, etc., if there is no cause, the Victor will not smile. 对上师作殊胜供养， 释迦狮子请开示，消除疑惑。 十指合掌置于头顶， 此等众生瞻仰能仁尊颜。 祈请导师开示，消除疑惑， 亦请宣说导师微笑之因。 闻此，此等众生皆欢喜， 亦将领悟胜者之意。 若能令善逝眷属欢喜， 则他人之心亦将坚定不移。 尔时，世尊以偈颂再次对具寿马胜宣说： 能仁智者导师，僧团之师， 以梵天般具八支之妙音宣说， 马胜，以无瑕之心生起信心， 谛听导师微笑之因。 此等龙王生起信心， 以神通力压服众生而作供养。 为令众生安乐成熟， 当圆满寻觅佛陀菩提。 以大悲心观视无依怙之 众生，为何不生起痛苦？ 为令众生获得广大菩提， 导师们永不厌倦。 寂止喜乐，智慧力大之力量， 无相空性，如是无愿。 圆满修习解脱三门后， 极清净之有情将安乐而行。 通达一切众生平等性， 何时胜者闻听智慧之名， 获得平等心、慈爱与悲悯， 对众生生起大悲心后， 具慈爱者，乃极具悲悯者， 将成为世间无上智者。 彼等胜者平等救度此等众生后， 彼等将引导众生证得阿罗汉果。 恒常听闻无我之语， 不涉入世间俗语， 彼等将获得善逝之不死甘露， 彼处无有魔众，亦无外道之徒。 导师善逝具悲悯心， 彼等胜者令一切众生欢喜。 将信受善逝之教言与一切语， 亦将信受善逝之意。 于有海中行持善逝之行， 于极乐中令众生圆满成熟， 获得无等果位，亦迅速安乐， 圆满证悟，获得不死甘露

To the lama, I make supreme offerings. Shakya Simha, please bestow your words, dispel doubts. With ten fingers joined in prayer, placed upon my head, These beings gaze upon the face of the Sage. I beseech the teacher of the assembly to dispel doubts, And also speak of the cause for the Guide's smile. Hearing this, these beings will rejoice, And will also understand the Victor's intention. If the retinue of the Sugata is satisfied, The minds of others will surely remain steadfast. Then, the Bhagavan, in verse, spoke again to the venerable Ashvajit: "The Sage, the wise Guide, the teacher of the assembly, Speaks with a voice like Brahma, possessing eight qualities. Ashvajit, with an immaculate mind, generate faith, And listen to the cause for the smile. These lords of the nagas have generated faith, And, overpowering beings with their power, have made offerings. For the sake of fully ripening beings in happiness, Completely seek this Buddha's bodhi. With great compassion, gazing upon beings without a guide, Why would one not embrace suffering? For beings to attain vast bodhi, The Guides will never tire. Tranquility, joy, the power of wisdom, strength, Signless emptiness, thus without aspiration. Having fully meditated on the three doors of liberation, Extremely pure sentient beings will go in happiness. Realizing the equality of all beings, When the Victor hears the name of wisdom, He attains equanimity, love, and compassion. Having greatly generated compassion for beings, Possessing loving-kindness, supremely compassionate, One will become an unsurpassed wise one in the world. Those Victors, having equally liberated these beings, They will guide those beings to attain arhatship. Always listening to the words of selflessness, Not engaging in the stream of worldly talk, They will attain the deathless nectar of the Sugata. There, there are no maras, nor assemblies of tirthikas. The Guide, the Sugata, possessing compassion, Those Victors please all beings. They will believe in all the words and teachings of the Sugata, And will also believe in the intention of the Sugata. In existence, practicing the conduct of the Sugatas, In supreme bliss, they will fully ripen beings. Having attained the unequaled state, quickly in happiness, They will fully awaken and attain the deathless nectar.

The Sugatas will attain immortality. Any sentient being who hears these words, Will not be displeased with that teaching. Those Sugatas are pleased with their words, Beings will truly attain immortality. At that time, beings will understand well the Victor's intent. Will be completely liberated from aging, sickness, and death, And from sorrowful cries and lamentations. After hearing these words, ego-grasping will disappear.
