May we be endowed, and may all beings practice the cessation of suffering. May we be endowed with morality and concentration, and may we achieve excellence through wisdom. Like you, a good guide, may all beings quickly attain Buddhahood. Guide, wise one of the world, Like you, may we become guides endowed with the ten powers, perfect in the eighteen unshared qualities, and understand all the wise ones of the world. May we all show beings that there is no reality, like dreams and illusions, without dwelling, like echoes and space, just as you, the good guide, show. Then, the Blessed One, knowing the superior intention of the king of birds, Good Wings, and others, smiled. Then, the venerable Aśvajit asked the Blessed One in verse: The Buddhas, the guides, the lords, do not smile without cause or reason, what is the cause of this smile now, please tell us, benefit the world with compassion. The Good Wings and others made offerings to the Buddha, banners filled the sky, causing wonder and amazement in this world with gods, please prophesy for them, O two-legged supreme one. All beings join their palms together, joyful and delighted, with satisfied minds, please listen to what will become of the sky-goers in the future, please prophesy for them, O two-legged supreme one. O supreme among humans, please tell us, may all beings be without doubt, without doubt in this retinue, they will know the Buddha's heart is pleased, and great joy will arise in this retinue. Completely purified and utterly cleansed of faults, the Buddhas prophesy, they are delighted, like a teacher instructing a superior disciple, please teach to dispel doubts, may they all be delighted and rejoice, this assembly is gathered with joyful hearts, please tell us what will become of the self-born sky-goers in the future. Then, the Blessed One again comforted the venerable Aśvajit in verse: Subduing all, possessing the ten powers, diligent and truthful, the victorious one, the powerful sage, the Tathagata Buddha, the guide with the melodious voice of eight qualities, the Good Wings and others

Droba Tatul said: Tatul, you have asked a good question. Listen with a joyful heart to the results of the Dharma that I have taught for the benefit of the world. Eliminate doubts and generate great joy. Seeking the supreme Bodhi, the state of peace, with what four powers and fearlessness, for seeking a fearless guide to liberation, Manba Cha offered excellent offerings to me. Speaking of the eighteen unmixed Dharmas, and being extremely thirsty for the body of a son without desire, as well as the thirty-two marks of excellence, in order to obtain perfection, they offered offerings to me. In order to obtain the discipline and samadhi of the Victorious Ones, as well as to know the wisdom of the realm of activity of the Buddhas, the perfect pure lands and the liberation of beings, they made offerings in order to obtain these. Because they made offerings to me with joy, after dying and being reborn from the animal realm, they will go to the heavens and be united with practitioners. This is the last time in the state of suffering. For as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, they will abide among gods and humans, and after making offerings to countless hundreds of thousands of leaders, they will become victorious ones who subdue their minds. After they die, they will not fall into the lower realms, they will not be born in unfavorable circumstances, and they will not lack names. The names of those victorious ones will be Samantabhadra, and the banner of Mount Meru will naturally appear in the kalpa. For eighty-four kotis of years, for the benefit of the world, those guides will abide in the world. For the benefit of the world, the guides will enter into samadhi and will do equal deeds for sentient beings. Those saviors who have become stainless, their assemblies that have abandoned pride will be eighty kotis. At that time, those saviors who are free from defilements will generate eighty kotis of extremely gentle minds. In order to eliminate the pride of beings, those guides will turn the excellent wheel of Dharma. People are so attached to pride, they transform into the body of Manba Sang, possessing great power. These beings, in a past time, were a great gathering of powerful ascetic sages. Complete with eighty-six thousand, they practiced asceticism and sought perfect magical powers. After they obtained magical powers, because of pride, they joyfully practiced fierce asceticism. Their discipline was not broken, and in the forest, their lives ended, they died and were reborn, and their bodies were destroyed. Because of pride, they were transformed into flying dakas and dakinis, magical powers.
