The lifespan of that Tathagata will be able to last for eight intermediate kalpas. Gods and humans will also not die suddenly. Peaceful Wisdom, thus, the Tathagata Vajra Subduer, the distinctions of the causes of his immeasurable qualities are these and many others. When that Tathagata is about to teach the Dharma, his great body will emit light. Then those sentient beings, seeing that light, will think: The Tathagata is about to teach the Dharma, we want to listen to the Dharma of the Bhagavan. Then some will come by the power of supernormal abilities, and some will come by the blessing of the Tathagata. There, gods and humans gather, and that Tathagata, in the sky above, appears as tall as a hundred thousand tala trees, sitting in the lotus position in the great four-continent world, filling it with his body. In order to satisfy the minds of all sentient beings, he makes the immeasurable ten directions of the world hear the Buddha's voice. The Tathagata's voice will teach the Dharma to those Bodhisattvas. Among them, there is not a single sentient being who would oppose or refute the Tathagata's teaching. All those sentient beings are sharp-witted and can understand with a little prompting. In that world, there will be no other king except the Dharma King, the Tathagata Vajra Subduer. In that world, there will be no self-grasping or attachment. All those sentient beings will be without self-grasping or attachment. Peaceful Wisdom, the Tathagata Vajra Subduer, whichever son of the gods or human he wishes to receive alms from, in front of that son of the gods or human, the Tathagata's form will appear holding a bowl and approaching. Thinking, "The Tathagata Vajra-vidāraṇa desires to receive my alms," he considered in his mind, and in the courtyard of the assembly, he spread out seats, prepared food, drink, and food with a hundred flavors, and requested the Blessed One to come and receive the alms. There, the Tathagata accepted the alms. Having accepted the alms, he returned again. When the Tathagata enters into perfect absorption, those Bodhisattvas will abide in the arrangement of samādhi. That world is filled with the source of qualities, endowed with these and other immeasurable qualities, therefore that world is called completely pure. When this explanation of the prophecy of the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, was taught, two hundred million beings generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and also made the aspiration to be born in that Buddha-field. All of them were prophesied by the Blessed One to be born in the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Vajra-vidāraṇa, that completely pure world. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, having heard this prophecy of his own, was satisfied, pleased, and delighted, and having generated joy and ease of mind, he threw the vajra into the middle of the sky. As soon as the vajra was thrown, at that time, this three-thousand great thousand world realm shook in six ways. A rain of flowers also fell. The sound of a hundred melodious musical instruments also arose. In the right hands of all the assembly, garlands of flowers of various colors also appeared. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, praised the Blessed One with these verses: "Lord of Dharma, vast and inexhaustible, treasure of Dharma, Skilled in thoroughly distinguishing dharmas, desiring the benefit of beings, Unwearied in Dharma, constantly bestowing, Following Dharma, the place of practicing Dharma, I prostrate. La lo! More than the moon, the completely pure discipline is extremely pure. More than the sun, the radiant light is magnificent and supremely majestic. More than Brahma, the voice is melodious and possesses the voice of Brahma. I prostrate to you, who are like gold and possess the Three Jewels! Although you manifest a body, you are not truly embodied. Although you speak, you have no conceptualization of sound. Although you teach the Dharma, you are free from the notion of Dharma. You liberate sentient beings, yet you are free from the notion of sentient beings. Those who hear your teachings and practice as you have taught, abiding in the essence of practice, will not be excluded. Although all beings constantly appear, they can never repay your kindness. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, and the retinue possessing all things, scattered garlands of various precious jewels upon the Bhagavan. As soon as the garlands were scattered, at that time, by the power of the Buddha, this realm of the three-thousand great-thousand worlds was beautifully adorned with garlands of various flowers, and appeared everywhere like patterns of peacock feathers.
