རླུང་གིས་བསྐྱོད་པར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །དེ་ལས་གཞན་པའི་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དང་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ཐམས་ཅད་བྱེད་པར་ནུས་ཀྱིས། གནས་འདི་རྣམས་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་ཞུགས་ནས། བསམ་གཏན་བཞི་པོ་མྱུར་དུ་བསྒྲུབ་པར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །དེའི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་ པོ་འདུལ་བ་དེ་རྣམས་ལ་གནང་བ་མ་བྱིན་ནོ། །ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བདག་གིས་དགེ་སློང་འདིའི་བ་སྤུའི་བུ་ག་ཙམ་ཡང་སྣའི་རླུང་གིས་བསྐྱོད་པར་མ་ནུས་པས་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེན་པོར་བསམས་སོ། །གནས་བརྟན་གྱིས་དགེ་སློང་གི་གཟུགས་དོར་ནས། འདབ་བཟངས་བྱ་ཁྱུང་གི་གཟུགས་སུ་མངོན་པར་སྤྲུལ་ཏོ། །འདབ་བཟངས་ཀྱི་ལུས་དེ་མཐོང་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བྲོས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །འདབ་བཟངས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲེལ་བར་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་རང་གི་གཟུགས་དོར་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེའི་ཁྱེའུའི་གཟུགས་སུ་སྤྲུལ་ཏེ། བཙུན་པ་ཁྱེད་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོའོ་ཞེས་རྗོད་པར་བྱེད་ཅིང་གནས་བརྟན་གྱི་ཞབས་ལ་ཕྱག་བཙལ་ལོ། །གནས་བརྟན་གྱིས་སྟོན་པའི་ཐད་དུ་ཤོག་ཅིག་འགྲོ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བཏུལ་ནས་དུག་མེད་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་དྲུང་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནོ། །ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཕྱག་བྱས་ཏེ། བཙུན་པ་ཁྱེད་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོའོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། དགེ་སློང་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱི་གནས་སུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱིས། བཙུན་པ་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་མི་འབྱོན་པ་ཅི་ཞེས་གསོལ་པ་དང། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་དང། དགའ་བོ་ཉེར་དགའ་གཉིས་གཡུལ་བཀྱེའོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །བཙུན་པ་སུ་ཞིག་ཕམ་སུ་ཞིག་རྒྱལ་བར་གྱུར་ཞེས་གསོལ་པས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་རྒྱལ་བར་གྱུར། དགའ་བོ་ཉེར་དགའ་ཕམ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཞག་བདུན་དུ་རིམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་གདུགས་ཚོད་གསོལ་བར་ཞུས། གནས་བརྟན་ལ་བཀུར་སྟི་དང་བསྟི་སྟང་བགྱིད་པར་ཞུས་སོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་སོགས་པའི་དགེ་སློང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་རྣམས་ལ་བཀུར་སྟི་དང་བསྟི་སྟང་ཞག་བདུན་དུ་བགྱིད་པར་འཚལ་ལོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་དང། དགེ་སློང་དེ་རྣམས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་བསྟོད་དོ།། །།ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དགའ་བོ་ཉེར་དགའ་འདུལ་བའི་མདོ་རྫོགས་སྷོ།། །།པཎྜི་ཏ་ཆེན་པོ་ཨཱ་ནནྡ་ཤྲཱིའི་ཞལ་སྔ་ནས། མང་དུ་ཐོས་པའི་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་

风也不能使之动摇。其他的比丘们能够做到最初那些比丘们的所有神变，但进入这些处所后，不能迅速地修成四禅。因此，世尊没有允许那些调伏龙王的人。龙王心想，我连这个比丘的一根毫毛都不能用鼻子的气息使之动摇，真是太神奇了。随后，尊者舍弃了比丘的身形，显现化作鹏鸟的身形。龙王见到鹏鸟的身形后便逃走了。龙王紧随鹏鸟之后，舍弃了自己的身形，化作婆罗门童子的身形，说道：‘尊者，我向您皈依。’并向尊者的脚下顶礼。尊者说：‘到导师那里去吧，我是要去的。’这样调伏了龙王，使其无毒，然后前往世尊处。龙王向世尊顶礼，说道：‘尊者，我向您皈依。’世尊回答说：‘很好。’之后，与比丘僧众一同前往给孤独施主的住所。给孤独施主问道：‘尊者，为何许久不来？’世尊回答说：‘目犍连之子和难陀近难陀二人交战了。’给孤独施主问道：‘尊者，谁输了，谁赢了？’世尊回答说：‘居士，目犍连之子赢了，难陀近难陀输了。’给孤独施主请求尊者世尊在七日内依次接受供养，并请求对尊者进行恭敬和侍奉。还请求对以佛陀为首的五百比丘进行七日的恭敬和侍奉。世尊应允了此事，比丘们对世尊所说的话表示赞叹。降伏龙王难陀近难陀的经文到此结束。大班智达阿难陀吉祥尊者面前，多闻的译师释迦比丘

Even the wind could not move it. Other monks could perform all the miracles of the first ones, but having entered these places, they could not quickly accomplish the four dhyanas. Therefore, the Blessed One did not grant permission to those who subdued the dragon king. The dragon king thought, 'I cannot even move a single hair of this monk with the breath of my nose, it is truly amazing.' Then, the venerable one abandoned the form of a monk and manifested as the form of a Garuda bird. Seeing the body of the Garuda, the dragon king fled. Following after the Garuda, the dragon king abandoned his own form and transformed into the form of a Brahmin boy, saying, 'Venerable one, I take refuge in you,' and prostrated at the feet of the venerable one. The venerable one said, 'Come to the Teacher, I am going.' Thus, he subdued the dragon king, made him non-poisonous, and then went to the Blessed One. The dragon king prostrated to the Blessed One, saying, 'Venerable one, I take refuge in you.' The Blessed One replied, 'Very good.' Then, together with the assembly of monks, he went to the residence of Anathapindika. Anathapindika asked, 'Venerable one, why have you not come for so long?' The Blessed One replied, 'Maudgalyayana's son and Nanda-upananda fought a battle.' Anathapindika asked, 'Venerable one, who lost and who won?' The Blessed One replied, 'Householder, Maudgalyayana's son won, Nanda-upananda lost.' Anathapindika requested the Blessed One to accept offerings in succession for seven days, and requested to show respect and service to the venerable one. He also requested to show respect and service to the five hundred monks, headed by the Buddha, for seven days. The Blessed One assented to this, and the monks praised the words of the Blessed One.
