After that, it is not seen. Venerable Shariputra, for that which is without birth, without cessation, without decrease, without increase, without coming, without going, without all afflictions, without complete purification, there is no mind of a Shravaka, no mind of a Pratyekabuddha, no mind of a Bodhisattva, no mind of a perfectly complete Buddha. Venerable Shariputra, that is the unequal and equal mind of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the mind that is not common to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, you say that for the mind of all-knowingness, the mind that is without outflows and does not belong to any category, there is also no attachment? Venerable Subhuti, is there also no attachment to form? Is there also no attachment to feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness? Subhuti said: Venerable Shariputra, yes, yes, there is also no attachment to form. There is also no attachment to feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. There is also no attachment among the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, you say that the mind of all-knowingness is without outflows and does not belong to any category. In that case, Venerable Subhuti, is the mind of ordinary beings also without outflows and does not belong to any category because of its intrinsic emptiness? Are the minds of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the minds of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also without outflows and do not belong to any category because of their intrinsic emptiness? Subhuti said: Venerable Shariputra, yes, yes. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, is form also without outflows and does not belong to any category because of its intrinsic emptiness? Are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness also because of their intrinsic

Is it because of emptiness that there is no leakage and it does not belong to any category? Subhuti replied: Venerable Shariputra, yes, it is so. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, are the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and even the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddhas also without leakage and not belonging to any category because of their intrinsic emptiness? Subhuti replied: Venerable Shariputra, as you said, it is so. Even the minds of ordinary people are without leakage and do not belong to any category because of their intrinsic emptiness. The minds of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the minds of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are also without leakage and do not belong to any category because of their intrinsic emptiness. Form is also without leakage and does not belong to any category because of its intrinsic emptiness. Even up to consciousness is without leakage and does not belong to any category because of its intrinsic emptiness. The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and even the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddhas are also without leakage and do not belong to any category because of their intrinsic emptiness. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, you said that because there is no mind, there is no attachment to that mind. Then, Venerable Subhuti, is there no attachment to form because there is no form? Is there no attachment to feeling because there is no feeling? Is there no attachment to perception because there is no perception? Is there no attachment to formations because there are no formations? Is there no attachment to consciousness because there is no consciousness? Subhuti replied: Venerable Shariputra, yes, it is so. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, is there no attachment to the factors of enlightenment because there are no factors of enlightenment? And is there no attachment to the unshared qualities of the Buddhas because there are no unshared qualities of the Buddhas?

Daṃ. Rābhjor said: Venerable Śāriputra, it is so, it is so. As it is said, formlessness also has no attachment to form. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, even without consciousness, there is no attachment to consciousness. Elements, sources, dependent origination, the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, powers, fearlessness, individual perfect knowledge, and even the non-common dharmas of the Buddha, there is no attachment to the non-common dharmas of the Buddha. Śāriputra, when a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva practices the Prajñāpāramitā in this way, with an unequal and equal mind of enlightenment, and with a mind that is not common to all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, he will not become arrogant by not observing all dharmas, nor will he become attached. Therefore, he is called a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva. From the Eight Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā, this is the twelfth chapter called "Abandoning Views." Twelfth Chapter: Abandoning Views.
