应当询问“有吗？”。如果（对方）说：“有。”，就应当向双方询问，如果（双方的说法）一致，就让可信的比丘尼用符合事实的话去做（调查），让她去寻找那件事的真相。如果（对方）说：“非时之肉，没有吃，但是吃了红糖。”，就应当让比丘忏悔。诸位，如果可信的比丘尼，前往比丘众处，这样说：“诸位，我看见一位比丘非时进食。”，如果（对方）这样说，是否应当让可信的比丘尼用符合事实的话去做（调查）呢？不应当让她去做。是否应当让她去寻找那件事的真相呢？不应当让她去寻找。暂时询问他：“他已经这样多久了？有几个月了吗？”。如果（对方）说：“有。”，就应当向双方询问，如果（双方的说法）一致，就让可信的比丘尼用符合事实的话去做（调查），让她去寻找那件事的真相。如果（对方）说：“非时之食，没有吃，但是吃了酥油。”，就应当让比丘忏悔。像这样不确定的事情，对于那些可信的比丘尼，以及那些说真话、看见真相的人，应当让比丘忏悔。《近事问经》克什米尔本中，关于不确定的事情的（内容）结束。 宣说关于不确定的事情。

Venerables, if a trustworthy female devotee goes to the assembly of monks and says, "Venerables, I saw a monk eating food at the wrong time," if (the other person) says this, should the trustworthy female devotee be allowed to do (the investigation) with truthful words? She should not be allowed to do it. Should she be allowed to seek the truth of that matter? She should not be allowed to seek it. Temporarily ask him, "How long has he been like this? Has it been several months?" If (the other person) says, "Yes," then one should ask both parties. If (both parties' statements) agree, then let a trustworthy female devotee use truthful words to do (the investigation), let her go to seek the truth of that matter. If (the other person) says, "I did not eat food at the wrong time, but I ate ghee," then the monk should be made to confess. For such uncertain matters, for those trustworthy female devotees, and those who speak the truth and see the truth, the monk should be made to confess.
