Moreover, my taking care of sentient beings is for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, from "named" to "merely a gathering," as mentioned before. Great King, listen again to what I have done to take care of sentient beings for the sake of seeking unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Great King, in the past, in a trading house, there were two caravan leaders. They entered a wilderness road with five hundred carts for trading, and the two of them thought: As we travel through the wilderness, there seems to be no help from each other. Instead, let us divide the caravan into two groups and enter the wilderness road. So, the two of them divided the caravan into two groups and entered the wilderness road. One of the caravan leaders, with five hundred carts, was the leader of the wilderness road. The other caravan leader, with five hundred carts, also entered the wilderness road. The caravan leader's man, walking in front of the merchants, saw a black man with large, red eyes, sitting on a donkey cart, the wheels stuck in the mud, his clothes wet, his hair wet, his head bound with a garland of kumuda flowers, singing the lead and chorus. Having seen him, he said: Hey, sir, has it rained on the wilderness road, and has a lot of fresh grass and water grown? Hey, sir, it is true, it has rained on the wilderness road, and a lot of fresh grass and water has grown. Wise ones, do not tire the loads with old grass and water, load up quickly! You will enjoy the fresh grass and water, be comfortable and well, and you will be able to complete the remaining wilderness road that has not been traveled. Then, the caravan leader's man went to where the travelers were, and upon arriving, said to those travelers: Wise ones, please listen! As I was walking in front of the merchants, I saw a black man with large, red eyes, sitting on a donkey cart, the wheels stuck in the mud, his clothes wet, his hair wet, his head bound with a garland of kumuda flowers, singing the lead and chorus. Having seen him, he said, hey, sir

Then he asked, "On the way to the monastery, has it rained, and have many fresh grasses and water grown?" He replied, "Yes, Inner Lord, it is true. On the way to the monastery, it has rained, and many fresh grasses and water have grown. Wise ones, do not tire your loads with old grass and water, but take the fresh grass and water! If you enjoy the fresh grass and water, you will have comfort and goodness, and even the remaining part of the monastery road that has not been completed will be completed smoothly." After hearing this, they abandoned the old grass and water and embarked on the road to the monastery. However, after they set out from there, even after a day, they did not find fresh grass and water. After two days, three days, and up to seven days, they did not find fresh grass and water. Then, when the merchants had been traveling for seven days, a man-eating yaksha addressed them inappropriately. After that, another caravan leader thought, "The merchants have been traveling for seven days since they left that place." So he also embarked on the road to the monastery. The servant of the caravan leader, walking ahead of the merchants, saw a black man with bloodshot eyes, sitting on a donkey cart, with wheels stuck in the mud, clothes wet, hair wet, and a garland of water lily flowers tied around his head. He was singing, and the lead singer and chorus were also singing. After seeing this, the servant said, "Inner Lord, on the way to the monastery, has it rained, and have many fresh grasses and water grown?" (The man replied:) "Yes, Inner Lord, it is true. On the way to the monastery, it has rained, and many fresh grasses and water have grown. Wise ones, do not tire your loads with old grass and water, but take the fresh grass and water! If you enjoy the fresh grass and water, you will have comfort and goodness, and even the remaining part of the monastery road that has not been completed will be completed smoothly." After that, the servant of the caravan leader went to where the merchants were and said to them, "Wise ones, please be aware! As I was walking ahead of the merchants, I saw a man called a black man, (the following content) up to 'singing, and the lead singer and chorus were also singing,' is the same as before. He said, 'Inner Lord, on the way to the monastery, it has rained...'

They asked, "Do fresh grass and water grow abundantly?" The answer was, "Yes, ruler of the interior, it is true. From 'the gods rained on the path to the monastery' to 'it will be broken through,' it is as before." Wise ones, for a while, until we find fresh grass and water, let us not discard the old grass and water. Even if those things are left for one night, fresh grass and water are not found. Even if two, three, or seven days pass, fresh grass and water are not found. The caravan leader's men saw a yaksha cannibal in front spitting in an inappropriate manner. Having seen it, they said, "Alas, the caravan leader's man is foolish; he spits on travelers in an inappropriate manner." It was because of ease and auspiciousness that the path to the monastery was broken through. At that time, the very last caravan leader of that time was myself. Great king, if you think that I, by caring for sentient beings, have attained unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, you should not think that way. However, what I have attained by caring for sentient beings is only a gathering of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment... Up to this point, it is as before. The section of the story.
