The earth refers to the hundred and sixty mundane minds. It is said that these minds are purified by the very nature of great bliss luminosity. What is the reason for this? It is to be equal to the eight worldly dharmas and to abide in the supreme samadhi. There are two aspects to this: the common aspect is to have discipline, not to be attached to enjoyment, to have patience, to have firm vows, to abandon bustle, to have mindfulness, to have unscattered remembrance of the two truths, to know what to do and what not to do, to abandon the five obscurations, to know moderation, and to have a clear mind in worldly conduct. The uncommon aspects are to have well received the four empowerments, to have a firm bodhicitta, and to have respect for the lama. If one abides in such a group, then the three doors of body, speech, and mind, and the three obscurations will become utterly purified, and all actions of elaboration will be abandoned. The two words called "discrimination" are a negation of elaborative yoga, which is easy to understand. As long as there are the three realms of existence, and the manifested worldly mind and elaboration, all discriminations are meaningless. Therefore, eliminating them is the very nature of the Tathagata's utmost purity. Therefore, through the fire of samadhi controlled by the five senses, the grass of afflictions and the mundane mind are completely burned, and when the three realms and the mundane minds are fully understood like the center of the sky, then the discriminations of all beings will disappear and become like the sky. Thus, in order to explain the need to purify the defilements of the arising of definite knowledge of all phenomena, it is said: Do not be blinded by the cataracts of discrimination. Why is this? Because the three realms of beings have no difference in their naturally pure state, but differences are created by discrimination. In order to explain this meaning in detail, there is "one with cataracts," and so on, which is easy to understand. Now, in order to explain that even the subtlest karmic results must be treated with caution before the arising of karma and afflictions are purified by the luminous samadhi, there is "seeing the ripening of sin, like the fear of thieves," and so on, which is easy to understand. That is it itself.

Now, having cut off the end of karma with the samadhi of shining sunlight, like having that patience, when perfecting the mind of virtue in one's own continuum, it is not necessary, so one should act as one pleases. Therefore, the so-called "that time" etc. is easy to understand. Thus, seeing and acting are called Brahmins, and to show that it is not caste etc., the so-called naked etc. is easy to understand. To show that if one has the undeviating path, one does not depend on caste, the so-called "even if born in a low caste" etc. To advise to return from the cycle of constant wandering due to confusion, the advice is concluded with "again and again": Calling "Ka", mind, you yourself purify your defilements. As it is said, just as one sees the dirt on one's face in a mirror and removes it, one should use a teacher like a mirror and a mantra like water to exhaust what is stained by the dirt of ignorance. Therefore, one should wash away the dirt of discrimination with the water of the teacher's mantra. If you ask how to wash, mind, you should fully understand, and in yourself, fully observe, and purify the great darkness of ignorance. As it is said, one should understand that all dharmas are the illusion of the appearance of mind and wind, and in oneself, one should let the wind and mind enter into their own nature, and look like the sky. Not listening to such Sugata's Dharma speech, and not having a share of it, is like appearing like fire. Therefore, one should remember that one must go to the next world, and listen to and practice the Sugata's Dharma, Bodhicitta, etc. After hearing that, do not do actions that contradict it, because there is nothing else that can hold one back from going to Avici hell. After hearing that, practice it in this way, and obtain the temporary result of gods and humans, and the ultimate result of enlightenment. For the darkness of ignorance, the Dharma is the refuge, Bodhicitta, etc., and finally, until the samadhi of great bliss, it is a lamp, because it is naturally luminous. Therefore, because it is the boat and vessel that crosses the great ocean of existence, one should always rely on it and practice it.
