For the sake of all beings, who bestows happiness, may you have good fortune. The protector, with a loving heart, constantly protects all beings like an only child, may you have good fortune. Who is the refuge for all sentient beings wandering in samsara, who is an island and a friend, may you have good fortune. Who has directly realized all dharmas, is pure and without deception, whose speech is pure and immaculate, may you have good fortune. The great glorious one who was born, who is endowed with perfect meaning and wealth, and who has accomplished the assembly of meaning, may you have good fortune. When he was born, the earth, together with the forests, shook greatly, and all sentient beings rejoiced, may you have good fortune. At the Bodhi tree, who caused the earth to shake in six ways, and made the demons unhappy, may you have good fortune. When turning the wheel of Dharma, he proclaimed the four noble truths, and the fame of the Buddha arose, may you have good fortune. Who, with his captivating power, defeated all non-Buddhists with the Dharma, and controlled all the sanghas, may you have good fortune. May the Buddha bring you good fortune, may the gods, including Indra, bring you good fortune, may the good fortune of all beings always be bestowed upon you. By the merit and power of the Buddha, and by the thoughts of the gods, whatever your wishes are, may they all be fulfilled today. May you two-legged ones have good fortune, may you four-legged ones have good fortune, may you have a good journey, and may your return be safe. May the day be auspicious, may the night be auspicious, may the noon be auspicious, may you always be auspicious, may you be free from sin. The Buddha and thousands of gods, surround you and depart, may those with hatred scatter, may those with compassion abide here. By the truth of the Buddha, the Pratyekabuddhas, and the Arhat scholars, may those who harm the world, leave this city. All sentient beings and all living beings.
