It liberates from sickness and death. It enables one to obtain a good reputation. It brings a meaningful life to people. By the benefit of this one alone. Whoever rises up first, Whoever proclaims it, That person will have a long life. People will be happy with wealth. Gods, nagas, yakshas, Gandharvas and those with foul bodies, Haunting spirits, rakshasas, Mothers with harsh minds, And yaksha women. Madmen and great demons, Nightmares and amnesia, And flesh-eaters, etc. Zombies and various others. Instigators, hostile minds of others. Even shadows will not invade. How could they fight again? Hostile minds will be bound. One will not be afflicted by diseases, etc. One will possess wealth, enjoyment, and merit. Sons and grandsons will increase. The wise will remember their past lives. One will possess a noble lineage and be pleasing to see. One will possess majesty and clear speech. One will understand all the scriptures. One will correctly rely on and respectfully serve a virtuous spiritual friend. Adorned with the mind of enlightenment. Wherever one is born, One will never be abandoned by the Buddhas. Thus spoke the glorious and noble Avalokiteshvara. The One Hundred and Eight Names of the Holy and Venerable Tara is complete.
