Ārya-cūḍāmaṇi-nāma-dhāraṇī. (Sanskrit: Āryacūḍāmaṇi nāma dhāraṇī, literally: Noble Crest Jewel Named Dhāraṇī). Tibetan: འཕགས་པ་གཙུག་གི་ནོར་བུ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་གཟུངས། (Chinese: The dhāraṇī called 'Noble Crest Jewel'). I prostrate to all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Noble Śrāvakas, and Pratyekabuddhas! I prostrate to the Three Jewels! I prostrate to all Tathāgatas, Arhats, Samyaksaṃbuddhas of the ten directions, whose wisdom is infinite, who pervade completely, who are supremely wondrous, and whose minds are perfectly pure! I prostrate to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, the great being, the Noble Avalokiteśvara, who possesses great compassion! He bestows fearlessness, completely saves from all poverty, liberates from all fears, pacifies all epidemic diseases and harms, pacifies all discord, strife, contention, and conflict, destroys all sins, destroys all ghosts, zombies, untimely deaths, bad dreams, and demonic diversions, averts the fears of enemy armies, famine, and sorrow, subdues all gods, nāgas, yakshas, rākshasas, gandharvas, asuras, garuḍas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, and pacifies all fears of poison, smallpox, sores, executioners, curses, zombies, and inauspiciousness. I prostrate to him! He eliminates all executioners, seizes all sins, increases wealth and grain. May my sons, grandsons, servants, and retinue always increase. This averting practice should be recited. The gods and asuras waged war, and Indra was defeated by the asuras. Then, he quickly came before the Lord of the World, with a heart full of fear, and prayed thus: "The asuras have defeated me, O Lord of the World! How should I strive diligently? O Lord of the World, please always look upon me with your divine eye!" Having heard Indra's words, the Lord spoke thus: "O Lord of the Gods, listen to me, I will grant you protection. When it is called "Looking at the Realm of the World", the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Lord of the World, the Light, in order to avert what is called "The Jewel of the Crown", received the words spoken by hundreds of millions of Tathagatas. Whichever wise person writes this mantra and wears it on their head, or recites it, or even reads it, all their fears will cease to exist. Always protect and conceal it, and in battle, they will be victorious. Pacify sins and nightmares, and increase merit and auspiciousness greatly. King of the Gods, therefore, whoever desires to be victorious should write it and wear it on their head, and always remember it in their mind. Not only in battle, but this always steals away sins, brings forth male children for women, completely protects the life in the womb, accomplishes all perfections, and utterly destroys all sins. Because there is no other like it, it is called averting. It causes the limbs to return. King of the Gods, called the Averter, is the great queen of mantras, benefiting all sentient beings, defeating the Asuras, and completely pacifying all enemy armies. Homage to the Buddha!
