In the language of India: Āryapuṣpakuṭanāmadhāraṇī. In Tibetan: The Dhāraṇī Called 'Noble Flower Heap'. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard: At one time, the Blessed One was in the great lake Anavatapta, in the palace of the dragon king Anavatapta, together with a great assembly of five hundred monks. There was also a great gathering of Bodhisattvas assembled from other world realms, a full thousand Bodhisattvas, all of whom had obtained dhāraṇīs, had obtained samādhi, were bound by one more birth, were well established on the ten bhūmis, were immediately empowered as crown princes, had donned great armor, and were without any doubt in all the qualities of the Buddha. At that time, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva named Lion's Play was also assembled in that very gathering. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Lion's Play rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, placed his right knee on the ground, and, with his palms joined, bowed towards where the Blessed One was, and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, how much merit will a son or daughter of good family generate if they make offerings to the Tathāgata?" When he had said this, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Lion's Play: "Blessed One, Lion's Play, do not say that, how much merit will a son or daughter of good family generate if they make offerings to the Tathāgata. Why is that? Because the Tathāgata has immeasurable discipline, immeasurable samādhi, immeasurable wisdom, immeasurable liberation, and immeasurable vision of the knowledge of liberation. 何处狮子游戏，如来住世也好，完全涅槃也好，所有供养者都是这样：声闻乘，或缘觉乘，或大乘，三乘中的一乘将完全涅槃。狮子游戏，如果有人见到如来、阿罗汉、正等觉佛陀后，心生信仰，以信仰之心，用所得之物、衣服、食物、卧具、疾病的医药、用具和一切安乐之物来尊敬侍奉，或者画像供养、忆念、服侍，以及有人对如来完全涅槃后的舍利，如芥子般大小的佛塔作供养，应当了知其果报是相同的，没有差别或不同。狮子游戏，如果在家菩萨用如须弥山般的珍宝堆供养声闻、缘觉和如来、阿罗汉、正等觉佛陀们，不如出家菩萨供养一枚卡尔沙巴拿（kārṣāpaṇa，古印度货币单位），供养后还将其完全回向于无上正等菩提，那么前者善根连后者善根的百分之一都无法接近，乃至千分之一、百万分之一、计数、部分、计算、创造、原因都无法接近，直到譬喻也无法忍受。狮子游戏，如果有人对如来、阿罗汉、正等觉佛陀，一年、百年乃至千年，用一切安乐之物进行供养，不如有人对如来完全涅槃后的佛塔，以菩提心完全摄持，为了供养如来而献上几朵花，或撒一把水，或涂抹香油，或清扫花坛，或献上香油，或献上熏香，或献上花朵，或献上焚香，或献上花鬘，或献上乐器的钹，或献上伞盖，或献上铃铛。

Wherever Lion's Play is, whether the Tathagata resides or has completely passed into Nirvana, all those who make offerings are like this: the Sravaka Vehicle, or the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle, or the Mahayana Vehicle, one of the three vehicles will completely pass into Nirvana. Lion's Play, if someone sees the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha and their mind becomes faithful, with a faithful mind, they honor and serve with所得之物（the things they have obtained）, clothes, food, bedding, medicine for illness, utensils, and all things of comfort, or they make offerings by drawing pictures, remembering, and serving, and if someone makes offerings to a stupa containing relics the size of a mustard seed after the Tathagata has completely passed into Nirvana, it should be known that the results are the same, there is no difference or distinction. Lion's Play, if a lay Bodhisattva offers a pile of jewels as large as Mount Sumeru to the Sravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddhas, it is not as good as a renunciate Bodhisattva offering a single kārṣāpaṇa (an ancient Indian currency unit), and after offering it, they completely dedicate it to the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, then the former root of virtue cannot even approach one percent of the latter root of virtue, not even one thousandth, one hundred thousandth, counting, part, calculating, creating, or cause, up to the point where even a simile cannot be tolerated. Lion's Play, if someone makes offerings to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha for one year, one hundred years, or even one thousand years, with all things of comfort, it is not as good as someone who, with a mind of Bodhi completely grasped, makes offerings to a stupa after the Tathagata has completely passed into Nirvana, offering a few flowers to worship the Tathagata, or scattering a handful of water, or applying a drop of ointment, or sweeping the flower bed, or offering ointment, or offering incense, or offering flowers, or offering burning incense, or offering garlands, or offering cymbals of musical instruments, or offering umbrellas, or offering bells.
