祈愿世尊金刚手紧随其后，守护！若上方邪魔星曜作祟，祈愿智慧大鹏金翅鸟五部守护救护！若下方邪魔龙族地神作祟，祈愿遍主龙王（藏文：ནཱ་ག་རཀཱ།）守护救护！若中间邪魔鬼神八部作害，祈愿智慧忿怒十尊守护救护！若男魔国王作害，祈愿世尊威力莲师守护救护！若女魔恶鬼作害，祈愿忿怒之王不动明王守护救护！若八种和十六种怖畏侵扰，祈愿二十一度母守护救护！若他方之敌和野蛮之人侵扰，祈愿光芒天女守护救护！若子嗣和血脉愚昧，祈愿守护之五位天女和妙音长寿五姊妹繁衍守护救护！若福德和受用衰损，祈愿阿玛赞巴五部财神赐予无尽宝藏之成就！若财富和血脉贫乏，祈愿圣救度佛母财续母五姊妹守护救护！若业之厚重遮障压迫，祈愿世尊不动佛安住于顶髻！若巨大业障压迫，祈愿世尊金刚萨埵摄受！若具有堕恶趣之因，祈愿世尊毗卢遮那佛大能者摄受！若面临非时之死威胁，祈愿怙主无量寿佛安住于心间！若时至命终，祈愿往生西方极乐净土！得见阿弥陀佛尊容！圆满地道功德，现证菩提！成佛后，与法身普贤王如来意趣相同！与报身五部佛之庄严相同！与化身贤劫千百万佛之事业相同！又与化身莲花生大师千百万俱胝之事业能力相同！以此福德大力之尽头

May the Bhagavan Vajrapani follow closely behind and protect! If upper demons and constellations cause harm, may the five divisions of the Wisdom Garuda protect and save! If lower demons, nagas, and earth lords cause harm, may the all-pervading Naga Raja (藏文：ནཱ་ག་རཀཱ།) protect and save! If intermediate demons, gods, and the eight classes of spirits cause harm, may the ten wisdom wrathful deities protect and save! If male demons and kings cause harm, may the Bhagavan Powerful Lotus Guru protect and save! If female demons and evil spirits cause harm, may the King of Wrathful Ones, Achala, protect and save! If the eight and sixteen fears afflict, may the twenty-one Taras protect and save! If enemies from other sides and barbarians afflict, may the Goddess of Light protect and save! If children and lineage are deluded, may the five guardian goddesses and the five Yangchen Tsering sisters propagate, protect, and save! If glory and enjoyment are diminished, may Arma Zambhala, the five families of wealth gods, bestow the accomplishment of inexhaustible treasures! If wealth and lineage are impoverished, may the five sisters of the Holy Vasudhara protect and save! If the thick veils of karma press down, may the Bhagavan Akshobhya Buddha reside on the crown of the head! If great karmic obscurations press down, may the Bhagavan Vajrasattva embrace you! If you possess the causes for falling into the lower realms, may the Bhagavan Vairochana, the Great Illuminator, embrace you! If threatened by untimely death, may the Protector Amitayus reside in the center of the heart! When the time comes to pass away, may you be born in the Western Pure Land of Sukhavati! May you see the face of the Buddha Amitabha! Having perfected the qualities of the paths and bhumis, may you attain perfect enlightenment! Having become a Buddha, may your mind be one with the Dharmakaya Samantabhadra! May your Sambhogakaya be equal to the splendor of the five Buddha families! May your Nirmanakaya be equal to the deeds of the thousand million Buddhas of this fortunate eon! May the patrons and their retinues have their wishes fulfilled in this life, may obstacles be pacified and auspiciousness prevail, and may their aspirations be accomplished in accordance with the Dharma, may there be auspiciousness! By this merit, may all beings quickly attain the state of omniscience, conquer all enemies of faults, and liberate beings from the ocean of existence, which is turbulent with the waves of birth, aging, sickness, and death! May the blessings of attaining the three bodies of the Buddha, the blessings of the unchanging truth of Dharma, and the blessings of the undivided intention of the Sangha cause all aspirations to be fulfilled as they are dedicated! Homage to the Three Jewels! Tadyatha, pañcadriya avabodhanā svāhā. (藏文：ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། པཉྩ་དྲི་ཡ་ཨ་ཝ་བྷོ་དྷ་ན་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：तद्यथा । पञ्चद्रिय अवबोधन स्वाहा ，梵文罗马拟音：tadyathā, pañcadriya avabodhana svāhā，汉语字面意思：如是，五根，觉悟，梭哈) Thus, by expanding the dedication with prayers, may Amitabha Buddha, the witness of the dedication, dissolve into light and merge into the patrons, causing all their life and merit to increase like the waxing moon! This is a general death dedication suitable for all occasions. If it is for a sick person, add the following verses in between the above verses: May all sick beings quickly be liberated from their illnesses. May all diseases of beings be completely and permanently eradicated. May all medicines be endowed with power, and may the recitation of secret mantras be accomplished. May the dakinis, rakshasas, and other beings be endowed with compassionate hearts. If making a dedication for travelers or for the general public, add: May all travelers find happiness in all directions. Whatever they travel for, may it be accomplished without effort. May those who embark on boats and ships have all their wishes fulfilled, reach the shore, and rejoice with their relatives and friends. Add these verses. Although the Bodhicaryāvatāra speaks of many types of dedication, these necessary death dedications are sufficient. Among these, the best is to practice without separating from the view of emptiness, the second best is to practice without separating from the view of illusion and dreams, and the least is to train in guarding the nature of one's mind after the dedication is completed.
