From the Oral Instructions of Mountain Retreat: The Excellent Iron Net for Separating Natal Planets and Cutting Madness in Relation to the Accumulation of Kusali's Merits Resides Here. Namo Guru Kamalasila Dakiniye. Here, I write a brief summary of the profound essence of Chöd. May the father, the venerable one, and the mother, Labdrön, bless me, the only son, and the lineage holders. In these degenerate times of evil, demons and evil spirits flourish. The time has come when people go mad. Most people commit suicide. Patients possessed by demons are pitiful beings. Therefore, generate compassion inwardly towards them. Outwardly, subdue them with fierce and wrathful visualization. Visualize yourself as the complete and mindful dark body of the venerable one, in the form of an Acharya, terrifying. Flames blaze from your body, burning the patients and demons. Burn them seven times until they are ashes. Scatter the ashes with a black wind, and contemplate non-objectification. Then, meditate on compassion for the demons for one session. Then, the patient is placed inside an iron net, shaped like a medicine door. Visualize your left hand holding the mouth of the net. If the visualization is clear, it will be easy and not crowded, and they will not jump into water or cliffs. Then, place your left hand on the red-hot iron. Visualize your right hand as a burning iron hammer. Vigorously strike as if pounding mustard seeds, without distinguishing between the demon and the patient's body. Visualize the flesh and blood turning to mud, and the bones turning to powder. At the end of each set of seven such visualizations. Meditate on strong compassion for the demons for one session. Then, rest in the state of compassion for one session. Meditate on this single-pointedly and without interruption. At best, one week; at medium, two weeks. At worst, three days, and the madness will subside. Even meditating for one session at dusk will benefit those with life-force, as proven by experience. When you are alone in the mountains, when you leave the meditation room to go about your business. After you leave the room, blow the leg-bone trumpet three times. With the samadhi of the wrathful mother, Black Wrathful Mother, summon the most powerful of the local gods and demons. Yourself

Before the return of the steward, protect my meditation room, including the pillars and eaves, from being harmed by bad people and robbers. I entrust all my pillars to you. If you can't do it, and the pillars are taken away, the responsibility lies with you and the local deity. Until I am empty of samsara, you will be at the top of the palace where you reside. Destroy all the mountains and rocks, dry up the lakes and springs, cut down all the sacred trees, burn lepers and corpses, complete the white hearth, the red hearth, the blue hearth, and the poisonous hearth, soak the blood of lepers in the lake, and grind the flesh of lepers into powder. Utterly destroy you, uproot you, and if I don't turn you into dust, I will send you to Naraka (Tibetan: ན་ར་ཀན།). Let's see what power and ability you have now. Thus spoke the local deity and demon, listening to the command no matter what, promising and vowing, thinking to guard, hide, and protect that place, writing a seal with ash at the door and leaving. When going to a foreign land, the method of binding robbers is, under one's own feet, a frame of iron-burned houses, wide, deep, and dark inside, with all the robbers inside, covering the lid with an iron-burned net, in the net, they entangle their feet, all jumping headfirst. On top of that, a cliff of human skin is covered in a crisscross pattern. On top of that, one's own left foot of the Wrathful Mother is pressed down. If the target is clear, it is said that is enough. When the miraculous power descends, as soon as the pillars are lost, one transforms into a sow or the arrogance of the Wrathful Mother, controls the demons, and performs a blood sacrifice. Eating that is like a drunkard drinking alcohol, everyone is angry and agitated, and hatred burns like a flame. It won't be long before this evil enemy is openly sent down with powerful miraculous powers. If these pillars are not quickly obtained, the demon you will be completely destroyed. Thus spoke the Dakini, thinking of wailing, thinking of pulling the sacred trees, pulling the hair of the demons, dropping vajra hailstones, destroying the dwelling, and grinding stones on the rocks and sacred lakes. The demon armies are arranged like human armies, thinking of wearing armor, holding weapons, and running from afar. Cries and burning sounds, banners fluttering like the wind. The Naga demons all have wrathful forms and arrogance, accompanied by dark clouds, thunder, and fierce hailstones, going to the enemy's land, hailstones are a collection of ominous omens, visualizing nine kinds of inauspicious signs descending like a dark rain. The fierce mountain spirits.
