The Benefit of Reciting the Seven-Chapter Prayer's Visualization Sequence. The Benefit of Reciting the Seven-Chapter Prayer's Visualization Sequence. The Benefit of Reciting the Seven-Chapter Prayer's Visualization Sequence is herein contained. Namo Guru Siddhi Hum. I prostrate to the Lord of Orgyen. Although his methods of accomplishment are limitless, here I will speak clearly about the visualization sequence for reciting the supplication section of the outer method of accomplishment, called the "Seven-Chapter Prayer." Visualize yourself as the deity Hayagriva-Vajravarahi, father and mother. Red in color, holding a curved knife and skull cup filled with blood. With a horse's head and a sow's face on the crown of your head. Adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments. Your two feet press down on the four maras on a lotus and sun disc. Visualize yourself standing majestically in the midst of a blaze of fire. Thus, the self-generation is applied to all seven chapters. On the crown of your head, visualize a white, red, and blue lotus. On top of the white one, the Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava. Wearing a lotus hat, Dharma robes, and a brocade cloak. Complete with the characteristics and signs, fully adorned in the attire of a Nirmanakaya. Above that, on a red lotus seat, the Sambhogakaya Guru Amitayus. Red in color, in meditative equipoise, holding a vase of longevity, embracing his consort. Adorned with silk and precious jewels, in the attire of a Sambhogakaya. On the crown of that, on a blue lotus, the Dharmakaya Guru Guhyasamaja Vajradhara. Dark blue, with three eyes, holding a vajra and bell. His head is adorned with the five families, wearing the six bone ornaments. Embraced by the white consort Mandarava, holding a curved knife and skull cup. On the outer petals of the Nirmanakaya, on six lotus petals, are Namkhai Nyingpo, Trisong Detsen (742-798), Tso Gyal, Nanam Dorje Dudjom, Mu Khri Tsenpo, and the Vidyadhara Gödem. All six are clear in their ornaments and attire. From the three places of the three main figures, rays of light emanate from the Akanishta Pure Land of Great Bliss, inviting the Guru's three kayas and retinue to dissolve into you. Emaho! From "The essence of Dharma, free from the scent of incense," etc., to the end of the lineage supplication, thus increase the recitation. From the three kayas and three secrets of the Guru on your crown, the blessings of white, red, and blue bindus emanate. By dissolving into your three places, blessings enter you, and you attain the siddhis of body, speech, and mind. The three kayas dissolve into light, merging with you without separation. Then, look at the natural face of your unconditioned mind. Its essence is emptiness, the Guru Dharmakaya. Its nature is clarity, the Guru Sambhogakaya. Its variety is unobstructed, the Guru Nirmanakaya. You find the three kayas within yourself.
