Burning the red smoke offering of the fierce snow leopard dog, burning the smoke offering with the assembly of ravens and vultures. Kye! To the lord, the fierce protector together with his retinue, I offer the essence of nectar-like chang, I offer the offering of butter tea, I offer tsampa like a pile of snow mountains, I offer the offering of white three milk and yogurt, I offer the essence of bright red and white meat, I offer with green seven grains of barley, I offer the essence of food with ten flavors, grains, medicinal herbs, and precious jewels, I offer with the radiance of five-colored silk. What is obtained in reality and what is transformed by the mind, weapons, musical instruments, and white sugar, etc., an inexhaustible smoke offering of a sea of offering clouds, burning the smoke with various kinds of fragrant wood. May the haze and darkness be cleared away, I confess whatever is contrary to your mind, may conflicts and quarrels be pacified. Please accept this sacred smoke offering, may you protect us, the patrons and retinue. If staying at home, please be our support, if going to a foreign land, please be our protector. Do not send diseases to people, do not let livestock and property be lost, do not let hail and frost fall on the fields. Grant the accomplishment of four-legged livestock, grant the accomplishment of grains in the granary, grant the accomplishment of pasture and food, grant the accomplishment of immortal life, grant the accomplishment of the flourishing of the lineage. Please be the road deity for those going to foreign lands, lead from the front and protect from the back. Please liberate and deliver from mountain paths, waterways, and dangerous places, feed the swift horses of the lower steeds. Do not let external enemies enter, do not let internal thieves enter the village, punish sins and misdeeds. Accomplish wishes and fulfill hopes, may home and abroad be auspicious and happy. People offer to the gods in due time, may the gods also protect the people. If you do not protect, you will violate the oath of the father god, your power and authority will decline. How can you violate the oath of the father god? In whose offering do you act as protector? Remember the oath of the father god, please accept this smoke offering and protect us. You are the sharp weapon of all Dharma protectors, now see how sharp and swift you are. Do not be distracted from upholding your oath and being a helpful friend, show signs and omens in reality. Without being lazy or negligent, accomplish the entrusted tasks.
