Ritual of Prostrations Ritual of Prostrations The Ritual of Prostrations is Present. Namo Ratna Trayaya. I take refuge in the Lama and the Three Jewels. In order to purify the sins and obscurations of myself and all sentient beings, and to perfect the two accumulations. I will practice the ritual of prostrations. Looking ahead about a spear's length away. About an arrow's length without touching the ground. A lion throne made of five precious substances. On five thrones covered with divine silk. Above, on a thousand-petaled lotus moon. Vast and expansive, pervading the three thousand worlds. In the realm of the three bodies, primordially pure. The Precious Three Jewels and the Three Roots. Please consider me and beings with compassion. Descend here and be seated on the throne. Vajra Samaya Jah (藏文，梵文天城体：वज्र समय जः，梵文罗马拟音：vajra samaya jaḥ，English literal meaning: Vajra Commitment Jah). Five lotus seats. On the central throne, the sixth Vajradhara. Surrounded by a sea of Lamas and accomplished ones, seated. On the right throne, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni. Surrounded by a thousand Buddhas and all the Buddhas. On the throne behind, the Dharmakaya Great Mother. Surrounded by scriptures, stupas, and all. On the left throne, the Maitreya, the Protector. Surrounded by the ten stages and all the Sangha. On the throne in front, the Great Compassionate One. Surrounded by all the deities of the Yidam Tantra. Between all five thrones, the wisdom. Dharma protectors and guardians gather like a marketplace. In front of that, this very body of mine. Emanating countless billions. Body, speech, and mind, I prostrate with reverence. I prostrate to the Three Jewels. Namo Manjushriye, Namo Sushriye, Namo Uttama Shriye Svaha. To the two, Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, I prostrate. To the mother who gives birth to all Buddhas of the three times. To the Dharmakaya Great Mother, I prostrate. The Dharmakaya of all Buddhas gathered into one. To the sixth Vajradhara, I prostrate. The Sambhogakaya of all Buddhas, the gathered body. To the five families, the ten fathers and mothers, I prostrate. Walking in hundreds of millions of worlds.

Merely hearing their names eliminates the suffering of the lower realms. I prostrate to the eight Medicine Buddha brothers. Merely making prostrations purifies all downfalls. I prostrate to the deities of confession. Making a hundred prostrations fulfills the broken samaya. I prostrate to the deities of the sacred eight families. By prostrating and making offerings, untimely death is averted. I prostrate to the deities of the nine deities of Amitayus. By prostrating and making offerings, the suffering of the lower realms is pacified. I prostrate to the deities of the purification tantra. Complete with forty-eight mandalas of the tantra section. I prostrate to the deity of the Vajra Garland. Complete with one hundred and eight great mandalas. I prostrate to the one hundred and eight deities of Mitra. Complete with one hundred and eight deities of the Shicha Tantra section. I prostrate to the one hundred and eight deities of Bari. Kriya Tantra, Charya Tantra, Yoga Tantra, Anuttarayoga Tantra.
