第六章，为了从轮回的所有怖畏中救护，皈依的教言具有救护一切怖畏的作用。 第六章，为了从轮回的所有怖畏中救护，皈依的教言具有救护一切怖畏的作用。 （ཆ）山居闭关的教言中，皈依救护一切怖畏的内容。那摩 惹纳 札雅雅（藏文：ན་མོ་རཏྣ་ཏྲ་ཡཱ་ཡ།，梵文天城体：नमोरत्नत्रयाय，梵文罗马拟音：namo ratnatrayāya，汉语字面意思：皈敬三宝）。喇嘛策尼嘉措您，不要散乱，请听我说。皈依的人虽然很多，但是了解皈依的分类却很少。能够奔跑的年幼孩子们，向父母寻求庇护。大多数普通人，向地方神祇地主寻求庇护。外道徒们，向自在天、遍入天等寻求庇护。与此相似的苯教徒们，不将三宝作为皈依处。那些人只能暂时，救护少许的痛苦，却不能救护轮回的痛苦。那些皈依处自己，由于没有舍弃轮回的痛苦，又怎么能救护其他众生呢？皈依处是三宝，但三者都不是究竟的皈依处。法如同道路，不需要到达彼岸。僧众如同道路的同伴，他们自己也没有脱离怖畏。皈依唯有佛陀，为什么呢？因为过失全部清净，功德全部极其广大，摧毁了四魔的怖畏，具有六种神通，超越了轮回的痛苦。以慈爱如同母亲对待独子般，日夜六时观照众生。因为具有十力之力的缘故，是值得皈依的最殊胜的皈依处。如此这般对于三宝，各个宗派的认识很多。就别解脱戒律而言，佛陀是化身释迦牟尼。法是四谛的法轮。僧众是声闻缘觉二者。预流果、一来果、不来果、阿罗汉们，被说是僧众。那些是真实的三宝。世俗谛三宝的所依，佛塔、佛像和，文字、身穿黄色僧衣者们。从今直至死亡之间皈依。为什么害怕轮回的怖畏呢？仅仅自己寻求庇护，是小乘的。

Although there are many who take refuge, few know the distinctions of refuge. Young children who can run, seek refuge in their parents. Most ordinary people, seek refuge in local deities and landowners. Non-Buddhist heretics, seek refuge in Ishvara, Vishnu, and others. Those who are similar to the Bon tradition, do not take the Three Jewels as refuge. Those people can only temporarily, protect from a little suffering, but cannot protect from the suffering of samsara. Those places of refuge themselves, because they have not abandoned the suffering of samsara, how can they protect other beings? The place of refuge is the Three Jewels, but none of the three is the ultimate refuge. The Dharma is like a path, there is no need to reach the other shore. The Sangha is like a companion on the path, they themselves have not separated from fear. Refuge is only the Buddha, why? Because all faults are purified, all qualities are extremely vast, the fears of the four maras are destroyed, possessing six kinds of superknowledge, transcending the suffering of samsara. With love like a mother treats her only child, looking upon beings six times day and night. Because of possessing the power of the ten strengths, it is a worthy refuge, the most supreme refuge. In this way, regarding the Three Jewels, there are many recognitions of each school. In terms of the Vinaya, the Buddha is the Nirmanakaya Shakyamuni. The Dharma is the Dharma wheel of the Four Noble Truths. The Sangha is the two, Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Stream-enterers, once-returners, non-returners, and Arhats, are said to be the Sangha. Those are the actual Three Jewels. The supports of the conventional Three Jewels are, stupas, Buddha images, and, letters, those wearing yellow robes. From now until death, take refuge. Why fear the fears of samsara? Seeking refuge only in oneself, is of the Hinayana.
