Sa. Padma, like myself, wrote these down. Also, from the Nine Deities Verse of Rangjung Dorje, it is said: "Twelve million recitations will allow one to see the mandala of the Victorious Ones." Also, in the Nine Deities Visualization Sequence, written down by Rangjung, from the oral instructions of Nyang Ra, it says: "If you meditate in this way, mixing and combining it according to the oral instructions of the lama, you will obtain supreme and common siddhis in this very life. The great clear light, without coming or going, will be manifest, and you will attain the siddhi of khechara." So it is said. The Verse of the Body Mandala of Rangjung Dorje and the two tantras, Padma Zabpai Gyü, agree in meaning: "By meditating well on the body's mandala, the yogini Buddha Eye will give bliss to the body. White Robe (referring to White Tara) gives bliss to warmth. Māmakī gives bliss to the blood. Tara gives bliss to the breath. Karma Khechari gives great bliss. Padma Khechari is very joyful. Ratna Khechari gives supreme joy. Vajra gives non-dual bliss and emptiness. All appearances of form, and sound, smell, taste, and touch, etc., all give bliss, and such qualities will be obtained." So it is said. In the Five Deity Sadhana, in the Chinese version made by Drubpai Gyalmo, the signs of recitation are: "Countless naked women gather, sitting on the top of stupas, red light fills the houses, the smell of medicine pervades, clairvoyance arises, male and female beings gather, women adorned with ornaments gather, signs of the arising of desired things and wishes. The materials and medicine for the activity, wherever they go, should be given. When the aggregates of ripening karma are abandoned, there is no doubt that one will be reborn in the Pure Land of Amitabha." So it is said. In the teachings of Nyang's tertön, Khama, it says: "The signs of meditating and reciting in this way are: the body feels comfortable, light, clear, attachment diminishes, appearances are seen as illusory, light, sound, and pleasant smells arise." So it is said. In the single transmission of the secret sadhana of the Five Deities given by Drubpai Gyalmo to Rechungpa, it says: "Even a moment's recollection will quickly obtain supreme and common siddhis. It is a sign that will lead to the realm of the khecharas, signs and omens at the time of death."
