If merely reciting the name of Manjushri has immeasurable benefits, what need is there to mention receiving this empowerment? In the "Benefits of Reciting the Name," it says: It completely purifies all the evil destinies of all sentient beings; it completely cuts off all karmic obscurations; it prevents the continuity of birth in all eight states of unfreedom; it completely pacifies the eight great fears; it definitely destroys all bad dreams; it definitely eliminates all bad omens; it completely pacifies all inauspicious signs and obstacles; it keeps all enemies of demons far away; it increases all roots of virtue and merit, and makes strength and power complete. And so on. It also teaches the unsurpassed Dharma to all sentient beings and becomes the Dharma king who continuously proclaims the great sound of the Dharma drum in the ten directions. Furthermore, the "Single Hero Sadhana Tantra" says: If one constantly practices, one will even attain Buddhahood in this very life. Therefore, it is said that if one constantly practices Manjushri as one's yidam, one will attain Buddhahood in one lifetime and one body. Even just by making a connection, in the future, after countless eons have passed, in the southern direction, there will be a Buddha land called "Dustless, Truly Noble," a pure Buddha land whose qualities cannot be expressed. In that land, Manjushri himself will manifest Buddhahood, known as the Buddha "All-Seeing." All those who have made a connection now will be born in that land, enjoy the splendor of the land, and in one lifetime become Bodhisattvas destined for enlightenment, ultimately attaining Buddhahood.
