I prostrate to the Three Jewels. Secondly, I prostrate to Amitabha. Then, concerning Amitabha himself, I prostrate twice to his body, twice to his speech, twice to his mind, and once each to his qualities and activities. Thus, after completing the nine prostrations, With actual offerings of lamps, pure water, etc., And with my own body and all possessions, And with offerings emanated by the mind, filling the sky. From all the pure lands at the edge of the sky, Flowers, incense trees, and precious jewels, I take them all with my mind and meditate on offering them. All the sins and obscurations of myself and all mother sentient beings, I confess them all before him. For all the virtues of the noble ones and individual ordinary beings, I rejoice from the depths of my heart and meditate. To those who have attained complete enlightenment but have not turned the wheel of Dharma, I offer the request to turn the wheel of Dharma. To those who, having completed their benefit to beings, wish to pass into nirvana, I offer the request not to pass into nirvana, but to remain. All these merits thus accumulated, I dedicate them for the sake of my own complete enlightenment. With this, the seven branches are complete, All the Sutra tradition rituals are gathered here. From "As long as the heart of enlightenment" to "May it be equal to practice," it is said. The aspiration made from person to person, born to uphold the teachings, is the same as the common custom. If one is quickly born in the Sukhavati pure land, then his emanations, re-emanations, close emanations, and three emanations will change the aspiration to benefit the teachings and sentient beings. This is also the custom of the Kagyu lamas. The result of practicing the sacred Dharma from the depths of one's heart is: Whatever negative karma and obscurations have been accumulated from countless eons ago until now, If all of them can ripen on this body in this lifetime, Short life, many diseases, rampant thoughts, harmed by enemies, Tormented by leprosy, dropsy, lice, and severe diseases, Whatever obscurations there are, may they be exhausted on this body in this lifetime, Then there is the aspiration for permanent happiness. If those were to fully ripen in this very life, Even if it is said, we ourselves do not have such realization. Fearing that such a thing will happen, we perform rituals, protections, and reversals. Therefore, it is better to change the wording of this. May those not ripen in this life! May they not be experienced in other times! It is better for us to change that phrase ourselves. Even if we change it, we think there is no way to accomplish that, Comfort
