The oral instruction of tying and liberation, the moment of tying is self-liberation. The oral instruction of tying and liberation, the moment of tying is self-liberation. The oral instruction of tying and liberation, called "The moment of tying is self-liberation," is hereby present. The universal ancestor of all Buddhas, Samantabhadra. To that primordial Buddha, I prostrate. The seed of all dharmas, the lineage of tying and liberation. Without practice, the method of liberation through tying. Its oral instruction is recorded here. May the Dharma protectors grant their command. Peaceful and Wrathful Secret Assembly, Essence Union, Great Lineage, Vajra Garland, Longsal, and so on. The extensive and concise tying and liberation methods are numerous, and although the variations and corrections of mantras have not been collected, the twenty-five aspects of the minds of the Father and Mother, which avert attachment, and the essence of the four Great Wrathful Ones are fundamental. The variations in mantras are according to the traditions of various treasure revealers. Corrections are not to be heeded; they are spoken from the Longsal lineage. Therein are the Chakra and the Book. The Chakra was created by the Vidyadharas. The method of writing is as explained in their respective treatises. The Book is profound in the meaning of the Tantra. The best writer is a Dzogchen yogi, the intermediate is one who has received empowerment and has not broken their vows, and the lowest is acceptable as long as the writer has not broken their vows. The best writing material is thin and hard dark blue paper, the intermediate is black paper, and the lowest is ordinary paper. The color of the ink is that of precious jewels, and the teacher of mantras is the color of the five Buddha families. Beryl, gold, copper, turquoise, and conch are also acceptable. The best is the color of Shakyamuni Buddha's body, gold is the supreme. The intermediate is silver and vermillion, and the lowest is Chinese ink. It is also acceptable to mix Dharma medicine and nectar pills. When many tying and liberation methods are tied together in one place, the size of the paper should be the size of a finger span. This is explained in some texts such as the Dakini Heart Drop. If many are tied, the size is four finger-widths. If only one is tied, the size is four finger-tips. These should be of equal length and width, tied into a square. On this square, the colors should be five colors. On the square itself, draw rainbow-like lines. Within each compartment, starting from the minds of the Father and Mother, the mantras of the tying and liberation methods should be divided and written in order. Since the mantras cannot be completed within one compartment, the remainder should be written in the annotation next to that compartment. Except for writing all the mantras, not a single Tibetan word should be written. At the end of the Peaceful and Wrathful deities, pray for the accomplishment of the four activities.

. Holders of this, the holy hundred families, or Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, or Amitāyus, or Samantabhadra, etc., names transformed, may they become Buddhas, inseparable from the assembly of deities! This is written at the end of the tying and liberation. When the volume is large or paper is scarce, write the peaceful and wrathful deities on one side and Guhyasamāja on the other. It is faultless even if the beginning and end are intertwined. It is sufficient if all the headings of the letters point in one direction. One tying and liberation should not have an empty beginning. The end of the mantra should not exceed a thousand on the outside. The beginning and end should not be confused, and there is no difference between inside and outside. After finishing writing, arrange offerings for many days. Blow on the tying and liberation with the six-syllable mantra. Do not leave it on bare ground, and do not let many hands touch it. Do not carry it over fire, and do not throw it into the wind. When proofreading, it is permissible to recall it in mind, but it should not be recited. The best consecration is in the center of each mandala, on a throne, in a precious vessel, filled with grains, and the tying and liberation itself is placed inside. In front, establish the deity and attach the respective action texts. Offerings such as tsok and torma should be offered well. After accomplishing the respective recitations, recite the tying and liberation a hundred times or twenty-one times, seven times, etc. Blow on that tying and liberation itself. Blow on the heart essence of dependent arising a hundred times or twenty-one times, scatter flowers, and speak auspicious words. If the lama is present, request the tying and liberation empowerment. If not present, visualize the lama inseparable in front. Take the words of the tying and liberation empowerment yourself according to the text. In the middle of the consecration, when meeting a lama with high realization, request a blessing by blowing on it from his hand. Burn the tying and liberation six-syllable mantra a thousand or ten thousand times. For a brief consecration, scatter flowers of dependent arising. Invite and absorb the holy hundred families with your mind. The best clothing is to wrap it with five kinds of silk. Whatever blessed object is found, wrap it inside. The middle one is wrapped with a piece of Manjushri's robe. The lowest one is tied with five-colored silk threads in a cross shape, which is sufficient. The best one is placed in a copper or iron gau box. The middle one is covered with birch bark. The lowest one is covered with hard things such as drum skin. After that, with braids or anything else. In short, do one thing to prevent the letters from being damaged. Samaya, consecration, untimely, do not separate from the body. Even if everyone knows the name of the tying and liberation, secret
