The benefits of Ka Dong Zog are immense. These deities do not need to be invited from elsewhere. Because they reside fully within our own bodies, blessings and grace come swiftly. Through this practice, all ten non-virtuous actions, the five heinous crimes, the near-five heinous crimes, violations of worldly laws, oath-breakers, violations of the vows of monks and nuns, violations of tantric vows, and all broken tantric commitments can be purified without exception. As stated in the glorious king of tantras, the Guhyasamaja Tantra: Whoever hears the names of the peaceful and wrathful deities, and prostrates to the mandala, all impairments will be purified, what need is there to mention the five heinous crimes? Even if one is in hell, it can be purified, and it is known as the realm of the vidyadharas. Thus it is said. Also, as stated in the Tantra of the Explanation of the Immaculate King: If any yogi or yogini merely hears the names of the deities of the mandala once, they will not fall into the great hells. Therefore, prostrate with reverence. In the illusory mandala of self and others, whoever prostrates with reverence, all impairments will be purified, vows will be fulfilled, and accomplishments will be attained. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the "General Bath of Action, King of Confession, the Tantra of Purifying Regrets, the Dongtrug of the Six Realms," it is said: By reciting the names of the forty-two peaceful deities of the Buddha assembly, the five heinous crimes and all obscurations will be purified. By reciting the names of the thirty blood-drinking deities and prostrating, the five heinous crimes and all heavy sins will be purified. Guru Rinpoche said: Meeting with this is an extremely fortunate opportunity. It is difficult to encounter this unless one has accumulated merit and purified obscurations. Even if one encounters it, it is difficult to comprehend. Merely hearing this and not giving rise to wrong views can lead to liberation. Therefore, this should be cherished greatly. This is the essence of all the Dharma. The Bardo instruction that liberates upon hearing, that liberates upon seeing, is called the Great Liberation Through Hearing. This is the Dharma of attaining Buddhahood without meditation, the Dharma of liberation upon hearing, the Dharma that leads great sinners to the swift path, the Dharma that distinguishes between good and evil in an instant, the Dharma that attains complete enlightenment in an instant.

It is a profound Dharma, by which sentient beings who arrive will not fall into lower realms. So it is said. Thus, the deity with great blessings and swift compassion, in front of this mandala of a hundred families, if you make a vow, the transformation and benefits will be great. One cushion, the six-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཡིག་དྲུག), lamps, life release, Vajra Guru (Tibetan: བཛྲ་གུ་རུ།), good offerings, Jo offerings, Mani stone walls, etc., each make a vow. Thus, Lama Karma Dondrup urged, and Raga Asya wrote. Also, you faithful listeners, please listen for a moment. In general, this peaceful and wrathful one possesses all the most beneficial Dharmas. It has a hundred lamps, like lighting a hundred lamps. It has a hundred assemblies. It also has a hundred deities, so it has a hundred assemblies. It has a thousand kinds of offerings, so it has a thousand offerings. Because there are Tsog offerings and Jo offerings, it has Tsog offerings and good offerings. Because there is a Mani stone wall, the six-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཡིག་དྲུག) also goes along with it. Because it is a fulfillment, the ritual also goes along with it. When the deceased Kusalipa asked the Dharma King what was most beneficial, he replied that peaceful and wrathful deities and the six-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཡིག་དྲུག) were most beneficial. In particular, Drogon Surya Chandra's brother, named Dorje Gyaltsen, died young. To see where his brother was reborn, he had a dream and met his brother wandering in the bardo. The two of them talked a lot, and he said: Most of the people in our area have heard of liberation through hearing in the bardo, so they are happier than others. The Naraka confession seems to be helpful, so the story of urging them to work hard is widely available. Now, on this occasion, the Naraka Dongtruk Tantra says: Bow down through the door of the body, and also bow down through the door of speech, and recite the names of the deities of the mandala. The meaning of what is said is to perform a hundred prostrations to purify sins and achieve self-liberation, so in the space in front, the peaceful deities, the forty-two Buddhas, are inseparable from this mandala, the thirty wrathful deities of the blood-drinking Heruka, the six Thubpas who are wrathful with great compassion, and the eight great wrathful performers who uncontrollably cast beings from the six realms into the Buddha-land, the command protectors, the land-protecting flesh-eating dakinis, the twenty-eight powerful mothers, and so on.

Sawa, please cultivate the thought of actually being present. For the sake of all deceased and implicated sentient beings, transform your single body into billions of bodies, and cultivate the thought of prostrating. When we describe the body color and attire of the holy hundred families, you should clearly visualize them in your mind. When reciting the names, please repeat them together. Prostrate, and prostrate with your head bowed. This was said by Raga Asya. Mangalam! Compiled and published by the Nangchen Banggang Craft Culture Sutra Secret Mantra Dharma Development Ling Ancient Book Restoration Room in Upper Kham. The history of the peaceful and wrathful intention of self-liberation Dharma teaching is presented.
