The Great Seal's Enhancement Prayer - The Intention of the Small Vajradhara. The Great Seal's Enhancement Prayer - The Intention of the Small Vajradhara. The Great Seal's Enhancement Prayer - The Intention of the Small Vajradhara is hereby recorded. Namo Mahamudraya. Homage to the Great Seal) Types of guidance and transmission of the Great Seal, Although much has been obtained, and the knowledge of dwelling, movement, and protection is known, Because of great desire for it, it is only so as not to forget, Although constantly practiced, there is no increase whatsoever. After a long time, there is a great danger of becoming weary and abandoning it. Therefore, the enhancement instruction is extremely important. That wisdom called the Great Seal, Is extensively taught in all the new and old tantras. It is the path by which all the great accomplished ones of China and Tibet have passed, It is widely known like the incomparable sun and moon. That is not understood by great intelligence, Even if one knows extensive scriptures, one does not realize it. Even if one is skilled in the five sciences, one does not know it, Even if one has great desires, it is of no benefit. In order to realize that which has not been realized, In order to increase that which has been realized, In order to obtain the means to stabilize that increase, There is no other way than devotion and respect for the guru. It is called the Secret Mantra Blessing Path, There is no other way to receive blessings than devotion and respect. Devotion and respect are solely prayer, It is called the path of devotion and respect prayer. The place of prayer cannot be arbitrary, Like a carved bowl, the patterns of the tsha-tsha appear, One must have a guru who has received the empowerment of the Great Seal. Now, from a guru who only has verbal transmission, After obtaining the guidance and transmission of the Great Seal, One can pray to the guru with the actual meaning transmission, Dakpo, Dusum Khyenpa, Götsangpa, etc., After obtaining the guidance and transmission of the Great Seal in the future, Please regard them as the root guru, It is promised that you will receive prayers and blessings, And that experiences and realizations will arise. Therefore, devotion and respect are the head of practice. Although the views of each sect are not the same, But like the White Lotus and the King of Samadhi, etc., Through the three sutras, the Unequaled Dakpo, As a great being who teaches emptiness samadhi, Has been prophesied by the Buddha, so there is no mistake. Similarly, the Sixth Dusum Khyenpa, Lion's Roar, Has been clearly prophesied by both the Buddha and Orgyen. The Great Seal's Chinese texts entered Tibet

Although many appear, there are not so many who have attained accomplishment. Relying on Mahamudra, the lineage of Dakpo Lhaje, Accomplished ones are more numerous than the stars in the sky. Therefore, the stream of blessings is immense. Marpa prophesied to Milarepa: "As long as the Buddha's teachings remain, The lineage of experience and realization will not be cut off." Therefore, the blessings of the lineage will not disappear. Therefore, do not be discouraged, generate joy. As it is said, faith and respect are the head of meditation. By meditating on this object, praying to this (lineage), In the sky about a cubit above the crown of your own yidam deity or ordinary self, On top of various lotuses and moon cushions, The Dharma Lord, Glorious Three-Times Knower, inseparable from the kind guru, Is blue-white in color, elderly, with white hair. In the form of a monk, wearing a golden black hat. On top of him is Dakpo Lhaje, Elderly, with white hair, wearing a Dakpo hat. Above that is Jetsun Milarepa, Blue-white, with upright hair. Wearing a white silk robe. Above that is Marpa, reddish-brown in color, With disheveled hair and a beard, Wearing a brown rag and a red cloak. Above that is Naropa, dark brown in color, Above that are Tilopa, both dark blue in color. With hair piled high, adorned with bone ornaments, in the form of accomplished ones. Above that is Vajradhara, dark blue in color, Holding vajra and bell crossed at the heart, in complete enjoyment. All around the Three-Times Knower, Phagmo Drupa, Dakpo, the ascetic practitioner, Bariwa, Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön, Lingre, Gyura, Khyeme Shang, Dharma Lord Yag Sangwa, Gyalwa Godtsangpa and Yang Gonpa, Khachö Wangpo, the great accomplished one Mase, Sangye Wönpo, Ngompa Khachöpa, Tserlung Kunga Namgyal, and others, Who have attained the clear light Mahamudra, The Kagyu lineage lamas are visualized like a crowd. On their heads they wear meditation hats, on their bodies they wear Dharma robes, All with their hands in the meditation mudra, eyes slightly closed. From all the boundless Buddhafields, Like meditating, invite and dissolve with the mind. Vajradhara, Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, Mila, Dharma Lord Gampopa, The Three-Times Knower, All-Knowing Karmapa, The four great and eight small.
