Homage to the deities of the mandala of the illusory Shithro! All impairments are purified, and even the five inexpiable sins are purified. The realm of hell is also uprooted, and it is known as the land of the victorious vidyadharas. It is said that if any male or female yogi hears the names of these deities of the mandala even once, they will not fall into the great hell. Such are the words spoken. Now, to briefly recount the history of this Dharma, which is endowed with many wonders: In the past, in this desire realm, there was a Brahmin named Conch Garland, who was skilled in all fields of knowledge. He taught a prince all the fields of knowledge that he knew, and the prince became wise. The prince thought to himself, "If I kill this Brahmin teacher, there will be no one in this land more knowledgeable than me." Thinking this, one day he gave the teacher many intoxicating substances to drink, made him drunk, and maliciously harmed him in many ways. As a result of this evil deed, the prince's body immediately suffered many painful sensations, and after death, he wandered through the six realms, tormented again and again by immeasurable suffering, and the sprout of bodhi withered. The Brahmin teacher also accumulated many causes of harsh, wrathful actions, and his bodhicitta deteriorated, so he experienced the same result. At that time, in order to guide those two to be tamed, Samantabhadra and Vairochana emanated as Vajrasattva and Vajrapani, and went to those two who had committed evil deeds. Vajrasattva taught the confession of the four powers and the secret mantra of the hundred syllables. He proclaimed the names of the peaceful and wrathful deities in their ears and made them prostrate. Vajrapani bestowed the outer, inner, and secret empowerments, nurtured the seeds of virtue, and so forth. By purifying their karmic obscurations, they manifestly attained the ground of vidyadhara. They became known as the King of Vidyadharas, Gewa Thong, and the Brahmin with the Human Skull. This profound Dharma, which is endowed with such a wonderful history, was transmitted in succession from Samantabhadra to the emanation of the lords, subjects, and translators through whispered instructions.

I, especially the great master of Oddiyana, Padmasambhava, with prayers and entrustments to Chokro Luyi Gyaltsen and Lhacham Gangbum, etc., with compassion contemplating the beings of the degenerate age, concealed this treasure in the rock of Gampo Dar Mountain, which resembles a dancing celestial maiden. Later, in this era, the Buddha Don Yod Drup Pa himself, who manifested as a human form in the world, the treasure revealer, the king of all accomplished ones, Dro Dul Karma Lingpa Tsal, retrieved it from the treasure and transmitted it through three generations. Thereafter, this profound teaching spread and flourished throughout the upper, middle, and lower regions. Through this profound teaching, at the beginning of bestowing the intermediate empowerment, the time has come to accomplish the purification of sins and obscurations, the transference of the six realms. Therefore, with unwavering faith and certainty in this Dharma, with steadfast devotion to the Lama and the vast assembly of peaceful and wrathful deities of illusion, thinking that one relies solely on them as refuge in this life, the next life, and the three bardos, listen well and keep it in mind. By doing so, one will surely be liberated from the suffering of the bardo. Recite "Kye ma Tshe Pho," etc. If it is a single empowerment, then the mandala of this profound teaching is opened, and the time has come to bestow the ripening empowerment. For this, also recite "What the Vajra Acharya should do," etc., and then offer the mandala. This was compiled by the elderly ascetic Gyurme Gyaltsen Zangpo, gathering the essence of the words of the previous Lamas, in response to the earnest request of the monk Namkha Lhundrup, who possesses genuine faith and commitment. By this virtue, may the teachings of the great secret Vajrayana never decline! The connection of the peaceful and wrathful empowerment, causing joy to the faithful.
