In order to completely transcend negative karma, and solely relying on this samadhi, all Buddhas of the past, present, and future have manifestly attained unsurpassable, perfect, complete enlightenment. Because this is so, there is nothing more important than practicing this samadhi, not even by the tip of a hair. Therefore, abandoning all worldly affairs, and without even regard for body and life, one should meditate like the Bodhisattva Sadāprarudita and the great Jetsun Milarepa. The noble Nagarjuna said, when a mantra practitioner focuses on samadhi: When the body becomes emaciated, but body, speech, and mind are satisfied, this yoga should be practiced. If the head or clothes suddenly catch fire, even abandoning the effort to extinguish them, one should strive for the means of no rebirth. Therefore, there is no other need that is more supreme. The end of karma cannot be exhausted by doing, abandoning worldly affairs, one should hope for liberation. After finishing busy affairs, there is no time to go to Dharma, whenever one remembers, one should run towards liberation. In the Two Examinations it says: Like the flow of a river that flows swiftly, and like the tip of a lamp flame that is firmly held, through yoga that is constantly practiced, one should remain in equanimity day and night. In the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra it says: Like carrying a vessel filled with mustard oil, with a sword-wielding person standing nearby, fearing to spill the oil and lose one's life, the wise should always be vigilant in the same way. As it is said, one should strive very hard, and with great diligence, practice the samadhi of the six branches of yoga. This profound instruction, except for those who are able to transmit it to others, benefit others, and those who have practiced it continuously for many years, no one else is allowed to read or use it as an example. Finished. Advice on Practice.
