It is difficult to experience this mother as the only one. If awareness is clear and one has control over both wind and mind, then is the bondage of these three—conception, appearance, and body—sufficient? Therefore, the practice of wind is very important. Whatever faults and obstacles of wind may arise, pay particular attention to it itself, focusing awareness on the root and forcefully controlling the wind. Then there is no need to practice other antidotes. Although some say that practicing Mahamudra does not require practicing wind, the horse of the mind is wind. Some say that one's own mind is completely pure, and there is neither impurity to be purified nor a method to purify it. If the interdependent relationship between wind and mind is harmonious, then awareness will appear clear. From this clarity of awareness, there is no separate activity of the Dharmakaya. If the interdependent relationship of life between the channels, syllables, and wind is harmonious, then activities and qualities, as well as the Rupakaya and so forth, will not be separate from oneself.
