Introduction to the Crystal Stone, Seeing is Self-Liberation. Introduction to the Crystal Stone, Seeing is Self-Liberation. From the Profound Dharma Peaceful and Wrathful, Awareness Self-Liberation: Introduction to the Crystal Stone, Seeing is Self-Liberation. Homage to the Peaceful and Wrathful Three Kayas of Deities. The Dharma discourse at the time of the Crystal Stone introduction is like a ray of sunlight piercing through a dark room. After demonstrating, all students are arranged in rows. The teacher gently presses the sleeping pulse of each student, causing the clear light of the first bardo to appear. Then, as the fainting subsides, many Gar, Ging, wrathful masks, and terrifying figures sound drums, bells, and other instruments, uttering Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed Syllable), Phat (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Destroying), and Ha sounds. At this time, the teacher personally passes the mirror-like crystal stone in the sunlight, with light, rays, and rainbow five lights, various movements fill the dark room. At this time, everyone shows fear, screaming and crying. Then, the teacher personally explains all the introductions of the bardo, combining them with the occasion. In particular, the five introductions of the crystal stone are as follows, the teacher introduces with words: Emaho! This essence of stone, precious Man Jewel, is called the Mirror of Vajrasattva. From the palace of Akanishta Dharmadhatu, it descended to this human realm for the benefit of beings, and is a good support for the introduction of the five kayas and five wisdoms. This crystal stone, the unchanging and stable foundation, is a symbol of the Dharmakaya's intention pervading the ground. The shape and color clearly manifest, are symbols of the Sambhogakaya possessing marks and signs. The five lights radiating outwards are symbols of the Nirmanakaya radiating according to what needs to be tamed. Without inner or outer, unobstructed clarity, is a symbol of the Dharmakaya without front or back. The five rainbow lights appearing in oneself are symbols of the five wisdoms being clear from the beginning. This is not the Dharmakaya itself, but should be understood as in the analogy. Sons of lineage, look at your own mind. The way your own mind's awareness naturally abides, is introduced by this precious Man Jewel: Just as the crystal stone has no inner, outer, upper, or lower, the mind also has no symbol of inner, outer, upper, or lower. Just as the crystal stone is transparent, unobstructed, and clear, the nature of mind is also a symbol of unobstructed transparency and clarity. Just as the crystal stone radiates five lights, the mind's cognitive energy also radiates everything as a symbol. Just as light and rays have no inherent nature, thoughts also have no inherent nature.
