(etc.) ... for the knowledge of how beings fare according to their kamma, for the knowledge of future events, for advertence, is a condition by way of object. (1) A phenomenon not to be abandoned by development is a condition by way of object for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development. One enjoys, one delights in giving (etc.), morality (etc.), jhāna (etc.), the eye (etc.), the object, the aggregates not to be abandoned by development. On account of that, lust to be abandoned by development arises, restlessness arises, displeasure to be abandoned by development arises. (2) Dominance Condition 39. A phenomenon to be abandoned by development is a condition by way of dominance for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development. Object dominance, conascence dominance.
