(3) The phenomena that are both clinging and clung to and that are clung to but not clinging are a condition by way of object condition for the phenomenon that is both clinging and clung to... three (below, three for dominance, similar to the pair of clinging). Condition of Dominance 100. The phenomenon that is clung to but not clinging is a condition for the phenomenon that is clung to but not clinging is conditioned by the condition of dominance – dominance of object, dominance of co-arising. Dominance of object – having given alms… having risen from absorption, having made absorption important, one reviews it, one relishes it, one delights in it, having made it important, lust arises, wrong view arises; learners, having made the change-of-lineage important… purification… the eye… the base, having made the aggregates that are objects of clinging but not clinging important, the aggregates that are objects of clinging but not clinging arise. Dominance of co-arising – the aggregates that are objects of clinging but not clinging, being dominant, are conditioned by the condition of dominance for the associated aggregates and the mind-originated material forms (the remaining two, dominance of object and dominance of co-arising, are also similar to the clinging dyad).
