With the divine eye one sees form (all to be done up to adverting). (1) The phenomenon that is clung to but not clinging conditions the phenomenon that is both clinging and clung to by way of object condition – giving…etc… morality…etc… Uposatha observance…etc… previously…etc… jhānas…etc… the eye…etc… the base; one enjoys and delights in the aggregates that are clung to but not clinging; with reference to that, wrong view arises. (2) The phenomenon that is clung to but not clinging conditions the phenomenon that is both clinging and clung to and the clung to A phenomenon that is grasped and not grasping is a condition by way of object condition. Generosity...etc... morality...etc... Uposatha observance...etc... formerly...etc... from jhānas...etc... eye...etc... base. He delights in, he rejoices in the aggregates that are grasped and not grasping. Having taken that as object, grasping and the associated aggregates arise. (3) (Thus, the other three should also be done by taking them as object. This pair is similar to the grasping pair. Where supramundane is not obtained, there it should not be done.)
