Object dominance – having given alms, having observed morality...etc... having performed the Uposatha ceremony, one reflects on it, making it important; having emerged from previously well-practiced...etc... meditations...etc...noble paths, they reflect on the path...etc... the fruit...etc...Nibbāna, making it important; Nibbāna is conditioned by dominance condition for the change-of-lineage, for purification, for the path, for the fruit. Conascent dominance – the dominance dissociated from cankers is associated... For which aggregates and mind-originated material forms is there a condition by way of dominance. (1) The un-tainted phenomenon is a condition for the tainted phenomenon by way of the dominance condition. Dominance by object – Having given a gift, having observed precepts... (etc.)... having performed the Uposatha ceremony, making that weighty, one enjoys and delights in it, making that weighty, lust arises, wrong view arises, previously well-practiced deeds... (etc.)... meditations... (etc.)... the eye... (etc.)... the base, making the un-tainted aggregates weighty, one enjoys and delights in them, making that weighty, lust arises, wrong view arises. (2) Immediate Condition 82. The tainted phenomenon is a condition for the tainted phenomenon by way of the immediate condition – Earlier, earlier tainted aggregates are a condition for later, later tainted aggregates by way of the immediate condition. (1) The tainted phenomenon is a condition for the un-tainted phenomenon by way of the immediate condition – Earlier, earlier aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness are a condition for later, later delusion accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness by way of the immediate condition; tainted aggregates are a condition for emergence by way of the immediate condition. (2) The tainted phenomenon is a condition for the tainted phenomenon and for the un-tainted phenomenon by way of the immediate condition – Earlier, earlier aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness are a condition for later, later aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and for delusion by way of the immediate condition. (3) 83. The un-tainted phenomenon is a condition for the un-tainted phenomenon by way of the immediate condition – Earlier, earlier delusion accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness for later, later (something) accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness Of the delusion that has passed, is a condition by contiguity; successive former aggregates dissociated from taints are a condition by contiguity for successive latter aggregates dissociated from taints; adaptation for gotrabhu... ...and for the attainment of fruition is a condition by contiguity. (3) 84. Phenomena associated with taints and phenomena dissociated from taints are a condition by contiguity for a phenomenon associated with taints – successive former aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and delusion are a condition by contiguity for successive latter aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness. (2) Defilement-associated phenomena are a condition for defilement-associated and defilement-dissociated phenomena by decisive support – immediate decisive support, natural decisive support…etc…. Natural decisive support – defilement-associated aggregates are a condition for aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and delusion by decisive support. (3) 87. Defilement-dissociated phenomena for defilement-dissociated That dhamma is a condition by way of decisive support condition – object decisive support, contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support... (etc.). Natural decisive support: Relying on faith, one gives a gift... (etc.) virtue... (etc.) wisdom... bodily pleasure... (etc.) lodging... Relying on delusion, one gives a gift... (etc.) produces attainment. Faith... (etc.) wisdom... bodily pleasure... bodily pain... and delusion are a condition for faith... (etc.) and for delusion by way of decisive support condition. (1) Dhamma dissociated from taints is a condition for dhamma associated with taints by way of decisive support condition – object decisive support, contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support... (etc.). Natural decisive support: Relying on faith, one mutters conceit, grasps wrong view. Virtue... (etc.) wisdom... bodily pleasure... bodily pain... season... food... lodging... Relying on delusion, one kills living beings... (etc.) splits the Sangha. Faith... (etc.) and delusion are a condition for greed... (etc.) for longing by way of decisive support condition. (2) Dhamma dissociated from taints is a condition for dhamma associated with taints and for dhamma dissociated from taints by way of decisive support condition – contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support... (etc.). Natural decisive support: Faith... virtue... (etc.) and delusion are a condition for aggregates accompanied by displeasure, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and for delusion by way of decisive support condition. (3) 88. Dhamma associated with taints and dhamma dissociated from taints are a condition for dhamma associated with taints
