Having given a gift, observed morality, etc., having performed the Uposatha observance, one reviews it, one reviews what was well-done previously, having emerged from jhana, etc., having emerged from the noble paths, they review the path, they review the fruit, they review Nibbāna; Nibbāna to the change-of-lineage, to the purification. a, of the path, of the fruit, for advertence, by way of object condition, it conditions; Noble ones reflect on defilements abandoned, on defilements suppressed…etc… formerly…etc… the eye…etc… the body, sounds…etc… the base, on invisible aggregates as impermanent…etc… sorrow arises; with the divine ear-element, one hears sound, with the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, one knows the mind of one endowed with an invisible mind, the base of infinite space for the base of infinite consciousness…etc… the base of nothingness for the base of neither perception nor non-perception…etc… the sound-base for ear-consciousness…etc… the tangible-base for body-consciousness…etc… invisible aggregates for the knowledge of psychic powers, for the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives, for the knowledge of knowing the destiny of beings according to their karma, for the knowledge of future events, for advertence, by way of object condition, it conditions. (1) Predominance Condition 36. A visible phenomenon for an invisible phenomenon by way of predominance condition, it conditions. Object-predominance: having made visible form important, one enjoys it, delights in it, having made it important, lust arises, wrong view arises. (1) An invisible phenomenon for an invisible phenomenon by way of predominance condition, it conditions – object-predominance, conascence-predominance. Object-predominance: having given a gift, morality…etc… having performed the Uposatha observance, having made it important, one reflects, formerly well-practiced things…etc… having emerged from jhānas…etc… having emerged from noble paths, having made the path important, they reflect, having made the fruit important, they reflect, having made Nibbāna important, they reflect; Nibbāna for the change of lineage, for purification, for the path, for the fruit, by way of predominance condition, it conditions; the eye…etc… the base, having made invisible aggregates important, one enjoys them, delights in them, having made them important, lust arises, wrong view arises. Conascence-predominance: invisible predominance for associated aggregates, and for invisible mind-originated forms, by way of predominance condition, it conditions. (1) An invisible phenomenon for a visible phenomenon is conditioned by the Adhipati condition. Co-existent Adhipati – The invisible Adhipati is conditioned by the Adhipati condition for visible mind-originated material phenomena. (2) The invisible phenomenon is conditioned by the Adhipati condition for visible and invisible phenomena. Co-existent Adhipati – The invisible Adhipati is conditioned by the Adhipati condition for associated aggregates and for visible and invisible mind-originated material phenomena. (3) Anantara Condition 37. The invisible phenomenon is conditioned by the Anantara condition for the invisible phenomenon – Earlier earlier invisible aggregates are conditioned by the Anantara condition for later later invisible aggregates; In regular order, Gotrabhu for… (etc.)… Gotrabhu for the Path… (etc.)… Neither-perception-nor-non-perception is conditioned by the Anantara condition for Fruition-attainment. (1) Samanantara Condition, etc. 38. The invisible phenomenon is conditioned by the Samanantara condition for the invisible phenomenon… is conditioned by the Sahajāta condition… three… is conditioned by the Aññamañña condition… one… is conditioned by the Nissaya condition… three. Upanissaya Condition 39. The visible phenomenon is conditioned by the Upanissaya condition for the invisible phenomenon – Object-Upanissaya, Natural-Upanissaya… (etc.)… Natural-Upanissaya – Desiring beauty of complexion, one gives alms… (etc.)… observes morality… (etc.)… performs Uposatha actions. Beauty of complexion is conditioned by the Upanissaya condition for faith… (etc.)… for aspiration… for bodily pleasure, for bodily pain, for the Path, for Fruition-attainment. (1) The invisible phenomenon is conditioned by the Upanissaya condition for the invisible phenomenon – Object-Upanissaya, Contiguous-Upanissaya, Natural-Upanissaya… (etc.)… Natural-Upanissaya – Relying on faith, one gives alms… (etc.)… produces attainment, cherishes conceit, grasps wrong view; Morality… (etc.)… Relying on lodging, one gives alms… (etc.)… breaks up the Sangha; Faith… (etc.)… Lodging… …and so on… is a condition by way of strong dependence condition for the attainment of fruition. (1) Pre-nascent Condition 40. Visible phenomenon is a condition for an invisible phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition. Visible matter as impermanent…and so on… dejection arises; with the divine eye one sees matter, the visible base is a condition for eye-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) Invisible phenomenon is a condition for an invisible phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition. Object pre-nascent, base pre-nascent. Object pre-nascent: the eye…and so on… the base as impermanent…and so on… dejection arises, with the divine ear-element one hears sound, the sound base for ear-consciousness…and so on… the tangible base is a condition for body-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. Base pre-nascent: the eye base for eye-consciousness…and so on… the body base for body-consciousness…and so on… the base is a condition for the invisible aggregates by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) Visible and invisible phenomena are a condition for an invisible phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition. Object pre-nascent, base pre-nascent. The visible base and the base are a condition for the invisible aggregates by way of pre-nascent condition; the visible base and the eye base are a condition for eye-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) Post-nascent Condition 41. Invisible phenomenon is a condition for an invisible phenomenon by way of post-nascent condition. Post-nascent invisible aggregates are a condition for this pre-nascent invisible body by way of post-nascent condition. (1) Invisible phenomenon is a condition for a visible phenomenon by way of post-nascent condition. Post-nascent invisible aggregates are a condition for this pre-nascent visible body by way of post-nascent condition. (2) Invisible phenomenon is a condition for visible and invisible phenomena by way of post-nascent condition. Post-nascent invisible aggregates are a condition for this pre-nascent visible and invisible body by way of post-nascent condition. is conditioned by post-natal condition. (3) Repetition Condition 42. An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by an invisible phenomenon by repetition condition – earlier earlier invisible aggregates to later later invisible aggregates… (and so on)… to adaptation to lineage-purity… to adaptation to purification… lineage-purity to the path… purification to the path is conditioned by repetition condition. (1) Kamma Condition 43. An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by an invisible phenomenon by kamma condition – co-arisen, momentary. Co-arisen – invisible volition to associated aggregates and to invisible mind-originated matter is conditioned by kamma condition; at the moment of re-linking… (and so on). Momentary – invisible volition to resultant aggregates and to invisible kamma-originated matter is conditioned by kamma condition. (1) An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by a visible phenomenon by kamma condition – co-arisen, momentary (to be elaborated). (2) An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by a visible phenomenon and an invisible phenomenon by kamma condition – co-arisen, momentary (to be elaborated). (3) Resultant Condition, etc. 44. An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by an invisible phenomenon by resultant condition… three… is conditioned by nutriment condition… three (in all three, edible nutriment should be included)… is conditioned by faculty condition… three (in all three, material life faculty)… is conditioned by jhana condition… three… is conditioned by path condition… three… is conditioned by association condition… one. Disassociation Condition 45. An invisible phenomenon is conditioned by an invisible phenomenon by disassociation condition – co-arisen, pre-arisen, post-arisen. Co-arisen – invisible aggregates to invisible mind-originated matter is conditioned by disassociation condition; at the moment of re-linking, invisible aggregates to invisible kamma-originated matter is conditioned by disassociation condition; aggregates to the base is conditioned by disassociation by way of absence, a condition. The base is a condition for the aggregates by way of disassociation. Pre-arisen – The eye-base for eye-consciousness… (etc.)… The body-base for body-consciousness… (etc.)… The base is a condition for the unmanifest aggregates by way of disassociation. Post-arisen – The unmanifest aggregates are a condition for this pre-arisen unmanifest body by way of disassociation. (1) An unmanifest phenomenon is a condition for a manifest phenomenon by way of disassociation – co-arisen, post-arisen. Co-arisen – The unmanifest aggregates are a condition for the manifest mind-originated forms by way of disassociation; at the moment of rebirth-linking… (etc.)…. Post-arisen – The unmanifest aggregates are a condition for this pre-arisen manifest body by way of disassociation. (2) An unmanifest phenomenon is a condition for a manifest and an unmanifest phenomenon by way of disassociation – co-arisen, post-arisen.
