The unfixed state is a condition by way of decisive support for the unfixed state – by way of object decisive support, by way of immediate decisive support, by way of natural decisive support… By way of natural decisive support – relying on unfixed faith, one gives alms, undertakes precepts, performs the Uposatha observance… generates jhāna, vipassanā… supernormal knowledge… attainment, cherishes conceit, adopts wrong view. Unfixed morality… learning… generosity… wisdom… passion… aspiration… bodily pleasure… bodily pain… season… Food... lodging, relying on them, one gives a gift... (and so on) one commits village destruction. Undetermined faith... (and so on) wisdom, lust... (and so on) lodging, by undetermined faith... (and so on) for bodily pleasure, for bodily pain, for the attainment of fruition, is a condition by way of decisive support. The preliminary work for the first jhana for that same... (1) A right-fixed phenomenon is a condition for an indeterminate phenomenon by way of post-nascent condition.
