(1) Karma Condition 78. A limited phenomenon is a condition by way of karma for a limited phenomenon – conascent, moment-to-moment. Conascent – limited volition is a condition by way of karma for the associated aggregates and mind-originated material forms. At the moment of rebirth, limited volition is a condition by way of karma for the associated aggregates and karma-originated material forms. Moment-to-moment – limited volition is a condition by way of karma for the resultant limited aggregates and karma-originated material forms. (1) An exalted phenomenon is a condition by way of karma for an exalted phenomenon – conascent, moment-to-moment. Conascent – exalted volition is a condition by way of karma for the associated aggregates. At the moment of rebirth, exalted volition is a condition by way of karma for the associated aggregates. Moment-to-moment – exalted volition is a condition by way of karma for the resultant exalted aggregates. (1) An exalted phenomenon is a condition by way of karma for a limited phenomenon – conascent, moment-to-moment. Conascent – exalted volition is a condition by way of karma for mind-originated material forms. The immeasurable phenomenon is a condition for the immeasurable phenomenon by way of kamma condition: co-arisen, of different moments. Co-arisen: The immeasurable volition is a condition for co-arisen aggregates by way of kamma condition. Of different moments: The immeasurable volition is a condition for resultant immeasurable aggregates by way of kamma condition. (1) The immeasurable phenomenon is a condition for the limited phenomenon by way of kamma condition: The immeasurable volition is a condition for mind-originated forms by way of kamma condition. (2) The immeasurable phenomenon is a condition for the limited and the immeasurable phenomenon by way of kamma condition: The immeasurable volition is a condition for co-arisen aggregates and mind-originated forms by way of kamma condition. (3) Resultant condition 80. The limited phenomenon is a condition for the limited phenomenon by way of resultant condition: One resultant limited aggregate is a condition for three aggregates and mind-originated forms by way of resultant condition…etc… at the moment of rebirth-linking…etc… the aggregates are a condition for the base by way of resultant condition. (1) The exalted phenomenon is a condition for the exalted phenomenon by way of resultant condition…etc… (three questions, occurrence and rebirth-linking should be made). (3) The immeasurable phenomenon is a condition for the immeasurable phenomenon by way of resultant condition… three (occurrence only). Nutriment condition The Minor 81. A minor phenomenon is a condition by way of nutriment condition for a minor phenomenon… and so on… is a condition by way of faculty condition… is a condition by way of jhāna condition… is a condition by way of path condition… is a condition by way of associated condition… is a condition by way of dissociated condition – conascent, pre-arisen, post-arisen. Conascent: Minor aggregates are a condition by way of dissociated condition for mind-originated material forms. At the moment of re-linking, minor aggregates are a condition by way of dissociated condition for kamma-originated material forms. Aggregates for the base… and so on… The base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for aggregates. Pre-arisen: The eye-base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for eye-consciousness… and so on… The body-base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for body-consciousness. The base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for minor aggregates. Post-arisen: Minor aggregates are a condition by way of dissociated condition for this pre-arisen body. (1) A minor phenomenon is a condition by way of dissociated condition for a major phenomenon – conascent, pre-arisen. Conascent: At the moment of re-linking, the base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for major aggregates. Pre-arisen: The base is a condition by way of dissociated condition for major aggregates. (2) A minor phenomenon is a condition by way of dissociated condition for an immeasurable phenomenon. A major phenomenon is a condition by way of dissociated condition for a minor phenomenon – conascent, post-arisen. Co-arisen – one limited aggregate is a condition by presence to three aggregates and to mind-originated material forms…etc… two aggregates…etc… at the moment of rebirth-linking…etc… aggregates are a condition by presence to the base. The base is a condition by presence to the aggregates; one great element…etc… to non-percipient beings…etc…. Pre-arisen – the eye…etc… sees the base as impermanent…etc… enjoys it, delights in it, on account of that, lust arises…etc… displeasure arises, visible object is a condition by presence to eye-consciousness…etc… tangible object is a condition by presence to body-consciousness. Eye-base is a condition by presence to eye-consciousness…etc… body-base to body-consciousness…etc… the base is a condition by presence to limited aggregates. Post-arisen – limited aggregates are a condition by presence to this body that arose earlier. Edible food is a condition by presence to this body. The life faculty of matter is a condition by presence to kamma-originated matter. (1) Limited phenomenon is a condition by presence to a lofty phenomenon – co-arisen, pre-arisen.
