Natural decisive support – bodily pleasure ṃ by relying on it, one generates the path. Bodily pain…etc.… by relying on the lodging, one generates the path. Bodily pleasure, bodily pain…etc.… The lodging is a condition by way of the proximate cause for the path. (3) Pre-nascent Condition 57. The neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon is a condition for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon by way of the pre-nascent condition – pre-nascent as object, pre-nascent as base. Pre-nascent as object – An Arahant discerns the eye…etc.… the base as impermanent, as suffering, as not-self. With the divine eye, one sees form. With the divine ear-element, one hears sound. The eye-base is a condition for eye-consciousness…etc.… The tangible-base is a condition for body-consciousness by way of the pre-nascent condition. Pre-nascent as base – The eye-base is a condition for eye-consciousness…etc.… The body-base is a condition for body-consciousness…etc.… The base is a condition for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing aggregates by way of the pre-nascent condition. (1) The neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon is a condition for the accumulating phenomenon by way of the pre-nascent condition – pre-nascent as object, pre-nascent as base. Pre-nascent as object – Trainees or ordinary people discern the eye…etc.… the base as impermanent, as suffering, as not-self. They delight in it, they rejoice in it. Greed arises with respect to that…etc.… Displeasure arises. With the divine eye, one sees form. With the divine ear-element, one hears sound. Pre-nascent as base – The base is a condition for the accumulating aggregates by way of the pre-nascent condition. (2) The neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon is a condition for the diminishing phenomenon by way of the pre-nascent condition. Pre-nascent as base – The base is a condition for the diminishing aggregates by way of the pre-nascent condition. (3) Post-nascent Condition 58. The accumulating phenomenon is a condition for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon by way of the post-nascent condition – The post-nascent accumulating aggregates are a condition for this pre-nascent body by way of the post-nascent condition. (1) The diminishing phenomenon is a condition for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing phenomenon The post-natant condition conditions: Post-natant aggregates tending to decline condition this pre-natant body by post-natant condition. (3) The neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing-bound phenomenon is a cause, by way of kamma, for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing-bound phenomenon – the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing-bound volition is a cause, by way of kamma, for the associated aggregates and the mind-originated material forms. At the moment of rebirth-linking, the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing-bound volition is a cause, by way of kamma, for the associated aggregates and the kamma-originated material forms. (1) Resultant Condition 62. The accumulating-bound phenomenon is a cause, by way of nutriment condition, for the accumulating-bound phenomenon… is a cause, by way of faculty condition… is a cause, by way of jhana condition… is a cause, by way of path condition… is a cause, by way of association condition. Disassociation Condition 64. The accumulating-bound phenomenon is a cause, by way of disassociation condition, for the neither-accumulating-nor-diminishing-bound phenomenon – co-arisen, post-arisen. Co-arisen – the accumulating-bound aggregates are a cause, by way of disassociation condition, for the mind-originated material forms. Is a condition by way of associated condition. Arisen afterwards – The accumulating aggregates are a condition by way of disassociated condition to this body arisen previously. (1) The diminishing phenomenon is a condition by way of disassociated condition to the phenomenon neither accumulating nor diminishing – Conascent, arisen afterwards. Conascent – The diminishing aggregates are a condition by way of disassociated condition to the mind-originated material forms.
