Aggregates to be abandoned by seeing are a condition by way of object for mind-penetrating knowledge, for knowledge of past lives, for knowledge of the passing away and reappearance of beings according to their karma, for knowledge of future events, for advertence and for delusion. (2) A phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing is a condition by way of object for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing and for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development. Concerning aggregates to be abandoned by seeing, aggregates associated with doubt and delusion arise. (3) 78. A phenomenon to be abandoned by development is a condition by way of object for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development. One relishes and delights in lust to be abandoned by development; concerning that, lust to be abandoned by development arises, restlessness arises, mental pain to be abandoned by development arises. Concerning restlessness, restlessness arises, mental pain to be abandoned by development arises.
