For those in the sensuous realms who are in their last existence, and for those men who, having shown a few existences in this very state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, there, the female faculty will not arise, but for them, there, the nose faculty did not fail to arise. For those in the fine-material realms, for those in the immaterial realms, for them, there, the female faculty will not arise, and the nose faculty did not arise. (A) For whom, where, the nose faculty did not arise, for them, where, the male faculty will not arise? Yes. (B) Or for whom, where, the male faculty will not arise, for them, where, the nose faculty did not arise? For those in the sensuous realms who are in their last existence, and for those women who, having shown a few existences in this very state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, there, the male faculty will not arise, but for them, there, For them there the faculty of smell did not arise. For those in the form realm, for those in the formless realm, for them there the faculty of masculinity will not arise, and the faculty of smell did not arise. (Q) For whom wherever the faculty of smell did not arise, for him there the faculty of life will not arise? For those in the form realm, for those in the formless realm, for them there the faculty of smell did not arise, but for them there the faculty of life will arise. For those in the form realm, for those in the formless realm, who are last-existents, for them there the faculty of smell did not arise, and the faculty of life will not arise. For those of their last existence in the form realm, in the formless realm, for non-percipient beings, the mind faculty will not arise for them there, and the nose faculty did not arise for them there. 428. (A) For whom, or where, the female faculty did not arise, will the male faculty not arise for them there? Yes. (B) Or for whom, or where, the male faculty will not arise, for them, there, did the female faculty not arise? In the sense-sphere, for those in their last existence, and those women who, by this very state, having shown a few existences, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, there, the male faculty will not arise, but for them, there, the female faculty did arise. For those in the form-sphere, for those in the formless-sphere, for them, there, both the male faculty will not arise and the female faculty did not arise. (Ka) For whom, where, the female faculty did not arise, for them, there, will the life faculty not arise?
