Venerable, do not follow that bhikkhu.’ And if that bhikkhunī, being told by the bhikkhunīs, still maintains it as before, that bhikkhunī should be admonished by the bhikkhunīs up to the third time for the relinquishing of that. If, being admonished up to the third time, she relinquishes it, that is good. Now at that time, the group-of-six bhikkhunīs, being lustful, consented to the hand-holding of a lustful man, consented to the corner-of-the-outer-robe-holding, they stood together, they conversed together, they went to a rendezvous, they consented to a man's approach, they entered a secluded place, they offered their bodies for that purpose, for the practice of that unholy life. Those bhikkhunīs who were of few wishes…and so on… they complained, they grumbled, they criticized: "How can the group-of-six bhikkhunīs, being lustful, consent to the hand-holding of a lustful man, consent to the corner-of-the-outer-robe-holding, stand together, converse together, go to a rendezvous, consent to a man's approach, enter a secluded place, offer their bodies for that purpose, for the practice of that unholy life?" for the purpose of engaging in that unholy practice... "It is true, Blessed One." The Buddha, the Blessed One, rebuked them... How can it be, monks, that the group-of-six bhikkhunis, being lustful, with a lustful man, would accept even the taking of hands, would accept even the taking of the edge of the outer robe, would even stand together, would even converse, would even go to a rendezvous, would accept even the man's coming near, would even enter a secluded place, and would even offer their body for that purpose, for the purpose of engaging in this unholy practice!
