He composed about fifty other commentaries on the sutras of the Ornament of Realization, the Ornament of Sutras, and the Discrimination of the Middle and the Extremes, as well as the major and minor sutras of the Greater and Lesser Vehicles, and treatises that explain their intended meanings. Independently, he composed the eight sections of the Prakarana. By reciting the Ushnishavijaya mantra a hundred thousand times, he also accomplished its vidya-mantra. Thereafter, he directly beheld the face of the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani), and attained immeasurable samadhi. Although the three other commentaries, such as the Commentary on the Pratītyasamutpāda Sutra, composed by this teacher, are generally considered to be among the eight sections of the Prakarana in this region, the term 'Prakarana' is not applied to the commentary on the words, and it is difficult to apply the term 'Prakarana' to the science of exposition. This is because the term 'Prakarana' refers to scattered treatises that explain each of the main points. Therefore, it is not used for a great treatise like the Ornament of Sutras, let alone for its commentary on the words. Among the eight sections of the Prakarana, it is reasonable that some have the name 'Prakarana' and some do not. This teacher did not go to remote border areas. He mostly stayed in Magadha itself. There, he repaired some of the old and dilapidated monasteries, and established one hundred and eight new Mahayana monasteries, so that the entire region of Magadha was covered with monasteries. Once he went to the land of Gaura in the east. There, he preached many sutras to an assembly of countless city dwellers, and the gods rained down a shower of golden flowers. Each beggar received about a large bag of golden flowers. He also established one hundred and eight monasteries in that land. He was invited by the Brahmin Makshika of Oṭibisha, and there he held a festival for twelve thousand Mahayana monks for three months, and five sources of jewels appeared in the Brahmin's house. The Brahmins, householders, and kings of that land became devoted, and he also established one hundred and eight monasteries there. In addition, in many other places, such as the southern regions, the teacher himself ordered the establishment of monasteries, and the total number was about the same as that, so it is said that six hundred and fifty-four monasteries were established. The teacher, the noble Asanga.

Compared to previous times, the Mahayana Sangha is more numerous at this time. If all the places are added together, it is said that there are about sixty thousand Mahayana monks. There are also about a thousand monks who travel and reside with the teacher, all of whom are disciplined and highly learned. Wherever that teacher resides, offerings from non-humans appear, as well as the opening of treasure troves, and other continuous miraculous phenomena occur. If one asks about good and non-good with the clairvoyance of thought, all predictions will come true. When a fire broke out in the city of Rajagriha, it was pacified by speaking the power of truth; when an epidemic occurred on the outskirts of the city, it was also pacified by speaking the power of truth; through the power of mantras, one becomes tall and gains power, and so on, wonderful biographies continue uninterrupted. About five hundred heretical opponents have been refuted one after another. In general, about five thousand Brahmins and heretics have entered Buddhism. Finally, the teacher, surrounded by a thousand disciples, went to Nepal. There, he also established the foundation of the Dharma, causing the Sangha to grow infinitely. Seeing householders and monks wearing monastic robes plowing the fields, he thought, "The Buddha's teachings are declining," and felt sadness in his heart. He taught the Dharma in the midst of the Sangha, reciting the Ushnishavijaya Dharani backwards three times, and immediately passed away, and for a time it was rumored that "the sun of the Dharma has set." Afterwards, the disciples also built a stupa there. According to Tibetan historical records, he composed the root verses of the Abhidharmakosha and sent them to Sangharaksha in Kashmir, who was very pleased, but when he presented the commentary, Sangharaksha was not pleased. He went to Magadha for debate. But some say that the teacher Vasubandhu went to Nepal. He wrote the root verses and commentary of the Abhidharmakosha and presented them to Sangharaksha, whether Sangharaksha was pleased or not, and so on, such a statement can be established. However, the story of Sangharaksha going to Magadha is not clear in India. Even if he went, it must have been a long time ago. When Vasubandhu went to Nepal, Sangharaksha had already passed away for many years. Regarding this, after the teacher Arya Asanga was ordained, he engaged in Dharma activities for seventy years.

He accomplished about five times. His lifespan was one hundred and fifty years. The years of his prophecies were half, which corresponds to the authority of living by the Dharma. He certainly did more than thirty years of work for the benefit of beings, and some Indians think he did more than forty years. The teacher Vasubandhu lived nearly a hundred years, and even during the time when the noble Asanga was alive, he did much work for the benefit of beings for many years. After the noble one, he did about twenty-five years of work for the benefit of beings. It is said that this great teacher and the Tibetan king Lha Thothori Nyantsen were contemporaries, which is also reasonable. This is the twenty-second story about the time of the brothers of the noble Asanga. During the later part of the life of the great teacher Vasubandhu, after the death of King Zaba Mo, in the western land of Maru, there was born a king named Shri Harsha, who had very great power of karma and ruled over all the western kingdoms. Later, he developed faith in the Buddha's teachings and revered the teacher Guna Prabha as his guru. At that time, in the east, the descendants of King Vriksha Chandra, King Vigama Chandra and his son Kama Chandra, were ruling the kingdom. These two kings also had great power and wealth, loved generosity, and ruled the kingdom according to religious principles, but they did not take refuge in the Three Jewels, worshiping both internal and external deities, and especially worshiping the naked ascetics. It is said that in Kashmir, at that time, there were also many kings who were respected. At that time, in the east, the teachers Mati Dhruva and Dikpala were doing the work of benefiting beings. In the west, it was the time when the work of benefiting beings in the later part of the life of Buddha Bhadra, the disciple of the noble Asanga, and the work of benefiting beings of Guna Prabha were flourishing. In the land of Kashmir, the monk Sangha Bhadra did much work for the benefit of beings. The teacher Dharma Bhadra went to all places and taught the Dharma, and in the south appeared the teacher Buddha Rakshita. This was about the time of the beginning of the lives of Lekden and Vimuktisena. In the land of Otibisha, King Jale

Also, the son of ུ་ཧེའི་ named Nagesha, and the Brahmin minister named Naga Kesa, reigned for about seven years, with great power, and Vikrama Chandra also paid homage to him. The master Loyi Pa subdued him, and he renounced the kingdom. The accomplished ones were King Darika Pa and Minister Demgipa. The master 'Servant of the Three Jewels' was also around the same time as Legdan. The Brahmin Bhadrapalita of Odivisha also did much work for the Dharma. Among them, when King Shri Harsha became an unrivaled king, he desired to destroy the religions of the Muslims. In a small area near Maulatan, he built a large Muslim monastery called Masita, which was entirely made of wood, and invited all the Muslim teachers. For many months, he provided all the necessities. He also collected all the scriptures of that religion. All were burned in a fire, and twelve thousand followers of the Muslim doctrine were burned to death. At that time, in the region of Khorasan, there was a person who knew the Muslim religion and was weaving cloth. All the later Muslims gradually spread from him. Because the king destroyed it in this way, for nearly a hundred years, the religions of the Tajiks and Mongols were very little practiced. Then, in order to purify sins, great temples were built in the places called Maru, Malawa, Mewara, Pituwa, and Chitawara, respectively. He provided for the livelihood of a thousand monks in each temple, and made the Dharma very prosperous. The great master Yontan 'Od was born into a Brahmin family in the land of being destroyed. Having mastered all the Vedas and treatises, he later became a monk and was fully ordained in a temple there. In the presence of the great master Vasubandhu, he expertly studied the three baskets of the Hearers and many sutras of the Great Vehicle. He expertly knew all the Vinaya scriptures and their treatises of different schools. He recited a hundred thousand Vinayas, always keeping them in mind. He lived in the temple called Agra Puri in the land of being destroyed, and there were five thousand monks living together, and all of them repented for their respective minor faults.
