While keeping the meaning in mind, express it in accordance with the general way of speaking. Forty-fourth, the preliminary of the recitation sequence: Om, the cloud of emanations of the bodies of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, arising from the aim of all sentient beings. May all the suffering of all sentient realms be pacified, may all happiness be quickly bestowed, may the combination of arising uncontaminated virtue arise correctly. May all sentient beings attain the supreme accomplishment of the Thus-gone ones. Namaḥ sarva buddhā bodhisattvānāṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: नमः सर्व बुद्धा बोधिसत्वानां, Romanized Sanskrit: namaḥ sarva buddhā bodhisattvānāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas), Namastute mahā vajra sarva sattva hitaṃ kara tiṣṭha (Tibetan, Devanagari: नमस्तुते महा वज्र सर्व सत्व हितं कर तिष्ठ, Romanized Sanskrit: namastute mahā vajra sarva sattva hitaṃ kara tiṣṭha, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage, great Vajra, benefit all beings, abide), Sarvatra sarve khāṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सर्वत्र सर्वे खां, Romanized Sanskrit: sarvatra sarve khāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Everywhere, all space), Dharmāṇāṃ adhiṣṭhāya svāhā (Tibetan, Devanagari: धर्माणां अधिष्ठाय स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: dharmāṇāṃ adhiṣṭhāya svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: By the Dharma, empower, svāhā). Combine the aspiration prayer and the mantra, recite it eight times, or at the end of one recitation of the aspiration prayer, recite the mantra eight times. Thus, may all this root of virtue manifestly accumulated, the collection of unsurpassed merit and wisdom, be completely dedicated to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Thus dedicate, and since I am suffering, may all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas bless me in every way, and grant me the supreme accomplishment. Thus pray. These three preliminaries of recitation are merely the necessary practices of the three samayas, namely, accomplishing the cloud of emanations of the Buddhas, purifying all sentient realms, and the ritual of the king of reason that pacifies suffering. In the general ritual style, complete dedication is necessary, but since it is already present in the generation of bodhicitta, it is acceptable even without separate dedication. Namo guru bhyaḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari: नमो गुरु भ्यः, Romanized Sanskrit: namo guru bhyaḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Guru), by reciting this many times, one pays homage to the guru. Then, take a rosary made of bodhi seeds or good wood, with one thousand and eight beads, or one hundred and eight beads, or fifty-four beads, or twenty-one beads, and in front of you, visualize the wrathful deity Legdrub or the Bhagavan Vajrapani, thinking of them in an instant. Namo ratna trayāya (Tibetan, Devanagari: नमो रत्न त्रयाय, Romanized Sanskrit: namo ratna trayāya, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels), Oṃ ata bhuti vijaya siddhi siddhārthe svāhā (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओम् अत भुति विजय सिद्धि सिद्धार्थे स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ ata bhuti vijaya siddhi siddhārthe svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, truly unborn, victory, accomplishment, purpose accomplished, svāhā), this is the mantra of the lord of the Tathagata family in general, recite it seven times. Then, cleanse it with the five aspects of the eye socket and navel, and thread it with a triple-twisted thread spun by a young girl, tying knots.

One should liberate fences and so on with reason. Forty-sixth, the activities during breaks are: the recitations I have done, the offerings I have made, the deity yoga I have meditated on, the great aspirations I have made, and individually confessing sins, rejoicing in the accumulations of merit and wisdom arising in the three times, both mundane and supramundane, and may that rejoicing be fully combined with the cause of enlightenment for all sentient beings. Focusing on all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, may the benefit of sentient beings arise. By the power of my merit and the power of my aspirations, may all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas bless me, and may the inexhaustible benefit of all sentient beings arise. May all accumulations of merit and wisdom be perfected. May all sentient beings individually abide in the ground of the ten powers of knowledge. Thus, make aspirations. Other detailed aspirations should also be made as they appear in the tantras themselves. Then, rising from that seat, with respect, place the volumes of Mahayana sutras such as the Avatamsaka on a clean throne and read them, and even just prostrating is definitely necessary. When partaking of food, recite: Om Oka Jwala Vajrapani Hum Samaya Manu Smara Hum Phet. Protect. Namah Samanta Buddha Bodhisattvanam. Om Bale Nada Dede Tejo Malini Svaha.
