With eyebrows and hair standing on end, flapping burning vajra wings, adorned with a crown of dry skulls, a necklace of wet scalps, and ornaments of snakes, bones, and jewels, wearing a skirt of wet tiger skin, and an upper garment of human skin and elephant skin, with feet in a burning posture, tormenting the hearts of enemies, residing in the center of blazing wisdom flames. On his crown is Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡), in his throat is Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 啊), and in his heart is Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). Light radiates from his own heart. Between oneself and the front generation, on the seat of the sun, he transforms into the Lord of Death, Yama, with a dark blue-black body, holding a chopper and a lasso. His hand gesture transforms into an iron hook, visualizing the summoning of the wisdom being. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)! In the past, before the Great Glorious One, as you vowed and promised, now descend to this blessed place, and invoke the fierce activity. Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡) Ehyehi Śrī Mahākālāya Mahākāruṇikāya Samājaḥ Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ! Merge into the Samaya Being, becoming non-dual. Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡) Śrī Mahākālāya Bhyaḥ Arghaṃ, offer from Arghaṃ to Śapda. The iron hook melts into light, transforming into a vase and bestowing empowerment. Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡) Sarva Tathāgata Kāya Abhiṣiñca Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 嗡)! Vāka Abhiṣiñca Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 啊)! Citta Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽)! Thus empower. The body is filled, impurities are cleansed. From the remaining water overflowing upwards, Yama himself resides as the crown ornament. Visualize offering the outer and inner offerings in sequence. Vajra Wrathful Black One's body, with the wisdom of the ocean of Buddhas, transforms the boundless ocean of existence into a supreme Samantabhadra offering cloud to enjoy. Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgatebhyo, etc., recite the mantra and mudra of the Space Treasury three times. With medicine mixed with eighty-four thousand roots, we offer with devotion, please accept and always rejoice, and grant miraculous accomplishments. Na. Please accept as you wish, according to your commitment. Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ. Śrī mahākāla idaṃ puṣpaṃ dhūpaṃ gandhaṃ baliṃ ta pratīccha hoḥ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Glorious Mahakala, this flower, this incense, this scent, this offering, please accept!). Gṛhṇa khāhi (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Accept, eat!). Vajra mahākāla kha kha khāhi khāhi (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Vajra Mahakala, eat, eat, eat, eat!). Recite these. Stir the inner offering with the vajra and sprinkle it on the torma. Drink, drink, vajra water! Having drunk this vajra water, if you keep the vows, you will attain siddhis. If you transgress the vows, you will be destroyed. Oṃ sarva udaka ṭha (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Om, all water, tha!). Recite. Place the vajra against your heart. Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, seed syllable). Drink, drink, great vajra! You should always drink this. If you do not listen to the command, black one, you yourself will decline! So saying, establish the commitment. Then, in the heart of the Protector, on top of the solar disc, a dark blue Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, seed syllable) surrounded by a garland of mantras turning to the right. Imagine that the light rays from the heart of the self-generation strike and intensely stimulate the continuum of the Protector's mind, accomplishing all desired activities without obstruction. Oṃ mahākāla hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Om, Mahakala, hum, phat!). Mainly recite this approach mantra. Deva mahākāla triyaṃ jaḥ jaḥ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Divine Mahakala, three, jah, jah!). Mahākāla triyaṃ dgrabho māraya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Mahakala, three, destroy the enemy!). Mahākāla triyaṃ thuṃ ril rbad kīlaya śa rbad (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Mahakala, three, thum, ril, rbad, kila, sha, rbad!). Dgrabho nṛ māraya hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Enemy, nri, destroy, hum, phat!). Samaya hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Commitment, hum, phat!). Sarva bighnanna vaṃ hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: All obstacles, vam, hum, phat!). Also recite these a little. At the end of the session. E sphāraṇa phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: E, spharana, phat!). It becomes a hole. There, the hostile obstacles arising from nri and tri become extremely emaciated in appearance. Imagine that the army of emanations of Mahakala has arrived in front. Re-bless the torma and offer it as before. Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, seed syllable). Whoever is a wrathful, evil one, who cannot be subdued by the Victorious Ones, may that one with the form of aspiration and mind be brought here as I desire! So cast the image. Oṃ mahākāla dgrabgegs gdugpa can māraya hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning: Om, Mahakala, hostile obstacle, evil one, destroy, hum, phat!). So urge. Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, seed syllable). Evil one with the form of a rakshasa, the Bodhisattva who subdues, the terrifying maker of the three-tiered city, I praise you, the fierce one! Dark in color, short in stature, great in splendor, subduing evil, with a curved knife in the right hand, a vessel filled with evil blood in the left, I praise the one with the skull garland! Stomping the ground in wrath, the earth shakes, with a terrifying laugh, Mount Meru collapses, extracting the hearts of those who break their vows, I praise the one with commitment!
