Thinking is time. Thus, the meaning of mind and wisdom reaching the ultimate is explained. In order to realize it, the key to bind is the five body key points: Subduing the base with the elephant's posture, subduing the body with the lion's posture, subduing the eyes with the hermit's posture, mixing appearance with the object with the vulture's piling posture, and repeating non-elaboration with the vajra posture. All other four modes of conduct are also limbs of posture. There are twelve ways of looking at the subdued awareness, which are as follows: Looking up with the elephant's way of looking makes one see the pure realm of the lamp. The lion's jumping posture is not to stay there, but to look at everything and look at the continuity of awareness. The Garuda's posture of flying in the sky is to look at and grasp the entire sky. The hermit is to be stable and unchanging, and to make it directly unchanging. The elephant's sleeping posture is to sleep without separating from the appearance, so that even when falling asleep, the thigle is seen. The iron pillar winding posture is to look at the edge of both eyes to stabilize the light of the circumference. The man's distance method is to lead to the left, right, up, down, and directions, so that the appearance spreads. The fox's sideways movement is to look inward from the corner of the eye, so that awareness appears inward. The vulture's piling posture is to mix the appearance of the object and the space and look at it, so that the pure land is seen. The giant is not dwelling in both existence and peace, mixing appearance and emptiness without distinction. The worm minutely separates all six objects and object-holders, and then mixes them with space and wisdom, thereby seeing dependent origination and seeing self-wisdom. The tiger's jumping posture is to alternately practice Tögal and Trekchö, which is taught in order to know the path of the Bodhisattva. These are the methods of training awareness. Then, again, training the mind: First find a place to stay, show it, train the movement of thoughts, mix all objects, look at it in an instant, use wisdom to distinguish what is to be abandoned and what is to be treated, and cut off the stream of karma thrown by action. First, do not turn to affliction, second, do not treat, and third, do not cling to freedom from elaboration.
