After studying, one would attain Buddhahood in one or two countless eons, and before that, there was no way to turn back from samsara. If one could realize the meaning of the nature of reality in a single instant, wouldn't there be a way to attain Buddhahood in one lifetime? A thought arose especially in his mind. Then, he didn't ask others, but inquired of the panditas of glorious Nalanda. He looked with his right eye at the tantric panditas and with his left eye at the epistemological panditas, and then asked. The epistemological panditas said nothing. As a result, the tantric panditas said: Previously, about seven generations ago, such a thing was said. Also, a person named Master Manjushrimitra said that, and prophesied to Master Garab Dorje. Now, if you go south from here, the south is the land of the ogres, the island of Beta, a garden with nine peaks intertwined with trees, a place inhabited by yakshas, a city called the City Where All Glorious Qualities Arise. A person named Master Manjushrimitra, Master Garab Dorje, dwells in the gaps where black clouds gather, blessed by the sons of pure-minded gods, teaching the Dharma to the three dakinis who are guardians, will appear before your eyes. After being blessed by Garab Dorje, one can realize the meaning of the nature of reality in a single instant, there is a Dharma for attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime, meet there. Then he asked, "Is it difficult or easy to go there, is it pleasant or painful, is the path near or far?" If the path were near, we would also go, but the path is very long, it takes thirteen full months to travel. The fear is very great, one will encounter fierce dakinis, fierce yakshas, venomous snakes, and fierce wild animals. He hesitated a little, and asked, "Is there a closer method than that?" There is a closer method than that, the hollow of Mount Meru, there is an underground hollow, if you go from there the path is closer. But there too are venomous snakes, and a city of non-humans, it is very difficult. He asked, "Is there no way to protect oneself?" རྩི་མ་གྷི་ཏ་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)protects against venomous snakes, it must be applied to the body. ཞུན་ཆེན་(Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)can block.

What is here in this place? In that city is my wife. Go and ask her for food. Then, having gone to that city, when asked the mistress for food, she said, "I have no food." Then, having bought seven sparrows from the market, plucked their feathers, took out their insides, cooked them, and offered them with rice and sesame oil. At that time, the teacher Shri Singha did not partake, saying, "Since we have the appearance of monks, we cannot eat meat. Moreover, we cannot eat meat that has been killed after being dedicated to us." Thereupon, the mistress said, "Later, I will rejoice." Then, having placed the seven sparrows in the palm of her hand, she blew on them, and the sparrows flew into the sky chirping. Shri Singha thought, "Since she also has such miraculous powers, could she be the teacher Manjushrimitra himself?" Thinking that he still needed to investigate further, he asked to stay for the night. The mistress said, "You may stay," and so he stayed. He thought, "Has the teacher come and given food to all of them?" The mistress gave food, but Shri Singha did not partake. The teacher said, "Your body is very good!" Then, in the morning, he recited the Vajrasattva's Illusion Net. The teacher first listened without getting up, and then got up and listened. After the recitation was completed, the teacher said, "What need is there to speak of the meaning? Even the words are confusing to the ignorant." At that time, the thought arose in Shri Singha's mind, "Is she the teacher?" Then, the mistress went to the market to look for food and bought a left hand of a woman with five rings jingling. Having washed it, cooked it, and offered it, Shri Singha said, "Since we have the appearance of monks, we cannot eat meat. Moreover, we do not eat human flesh. Furthermore, we do not partake of this woman's flesh." Thereupon, the teacher Manjushrimitra took the woman's hand in his hand and struck a hand drum once, and the woman's hand departed into the sky with five colors of light. After that, Shri Singha became convinced that she was indeed the teacher Manjushrimitra, and offered a golden mandala, prostrated three times, circumambulated three times, and requested, "Please grant me the realization that you have attained." But the teacher said nothing. Having done this three times, the teacher still said nothing.

Said. Then the mandala was made three times during the day and three times during the night. Circumambulation was also done three times during the day and three times during the night. Prostrations were also offered three times during the day and three times during the night. Having done like that for three months, (the teacher) said nothing. Then, Śrī Siṃha became disheartened, thinking that the teacher was not going to give instructions. Just as he was thinking that he should leave now, the teacher said, "Śrī Siṃha, come here." When he went there, the teacher was sleeping amidst filth and unclean things. Thinking that this was something to be cleaned, he swept those things many times, and many times something like steam or hail appeared, wet and sticky. It appeared. After sweeping eighteen times, he became very tired and rested. There was a fruit with a very good color and a very fragrant smell near the teacher's pillow. Thinking that this was something to be eaten, he ate it. A hundred of the best tastes appeared, and it was very fragrant. After eating that, he became ill, vomiting foam, falling down, and reaching the point of death. Śrī Siṃha thought, "It would be okay if I died now," and such thoughts arose seven times. The first time, just putting the yoke on his shoulders, the appearance of plowing the field, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. When seven swallows were led, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. When the illusion net of Vajrasattva was displayed, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. The extending of the woman's left hand, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. Then, when he was about to leave, the teacher said, "Come here." When he went there, (the teacher) was sleeping amidst filth and unclean things, thinking that it was something to be cleaned, he swept it. The sweeping also happened, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. There was a fruit in front of the teacher, which I ate, that was also a sign of the natural order, but I didn't understand it, it's okay if I die. Quickly, quickly, it's okay if I die," thinking like that, the vomiting of foam also stopped, and he also stood up from falling down. Looking at the teacher

Again he stood up and sat down. The master's face said, "What do you want?" There, Shri Singha said, "I want to realize the meaning of the nature of reality in an instant and attain Buddhahood in one lifetime." The master said, "Haven't you understood yet?" He replied, "I haven't understood." The master said, "I have been teaching you from the beginning, but you yourself don't understand. Even when plowing the field, I taught through the gate of skillful means and wisdom. Meat juice, or the bird Kalantaka, takes it in an instant. Even when hauling, I taught the six aggregates as a single symbol of the nature of reality. Even when displaying the magic net, I taught that all phenomena are beyond expression and of one essence. From the time of pulling the woman's hand, I taught that the symbol itself, the left side, is wisdom, like possessing the five wisdoms. Even when I said nothing, I taught that all phenomena are beyond speech, thought, and expression. You did not realize this. When you thought you had to leave, in order to purify the obscurations of your eighteen elements, I had you hold all the grasping objects eighteen times. You have a deep and subtle obscuration of grasping and being grasped, so I had you eat that fruit, because you were attached to the color and smell of that fruit, so you were attached to the external object of grasping. Because you were attached to the delicious taste after eating it, you were attached to the internal mind of grasping. When you were sick, you were sick because of the two obscurations of grasping and being grasped. When you were sick, remembering the seven thoughts of dying is also good, purified the obscurations and healed you." After saying that, A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: unborn), Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal meaning: unceasing), Ho (Tibetan: ཧོ, Devanagari: हो, Romanized Sanskrit: ho, Literal meaning: neither born nor ceased). After saying that, he taught with symbols, and the self-sound of the nature of reality, ururuwa, resounded for seven days. When he awoke from that, the master himself was sitting in that open space. In order to prevent the meaning of the nature of reality from disappearing or being forgotten, he taught with the symbol A-wun-bhara. In Tibetan, it means: When will you not distinguish the self-born wisdom of the unceasing Dharmakaya? He understood it as looking into the sky in the middle of the sky. The next morning, the sky dawned. The stars and planets had set. When the clouds and mist had not yet risen, at that time, do not look up at the sky. Do not look down at the ground. The sky directly in front was not produced by any substance in the beginning. In the middle, it was not formed into a substance. In the end, it was not conditioned by
